This 1 hour 32 minute recording captures the band's final performance at the first US Festival, held in California on September 3rd, during a break in the US tour supporting the release of 1982's "Ghost in the Machine." Utilizing two original audience masters, this recording captures the full live performance. The quality of the main recording is superb, offering a clarity unimaginable for an outdoor stage, directly capturing the PA output. While the missing parts are of slightly lower quality, they are complemented by a second, more adequate audience master. Surprisingly, there are few full live recordings from the tour accompanying the album's release, and the inclusion of a three-member horn section and the inclusion of many songs that were no longer performed after this tour, such as "Hungry For You," "When the World Is Running Down," and "Shadows in the Rain," make this a must-see for fans.
