The highly popular THE POLICE soundboard's highest peak update master series. The latest edition, "ZENYATTA MONDATTA Tour", is now available. This work is engraved with the "Melbourne performance on February 22, 1981". This is a stereo soundboard recording. 1981 was the time when "ZENYATTA MONDATTA Tour" and "GHOST IN THE MACHINE Tour" were made, and it was also memorable for the return to Japan. First of all, let's look back at the schedule at that time and check the show's position. 1980 July 26th - September 2nd: Europe (16 performances) (ZENYATTA MONDATTA released on October 3rd) October 15th + 18th: West Germany (2 performances) October 21st - December 8th: North America #1 (31 performances) December 14th - 16th: South America (3 performances) December 21st - 23rd: UK (3 performances) 1981 January 7th - 20th: North America #2 (7 performances) January 25th - February 7th: Japan (10 performances) February 10th - 26th: Oceania (10 performances) ←★Here★ (June: Production of GHOST IN THE MACHINE begins) This is an overview of the activities related to ZENYATTA MONDATTA. In the early summer of 1981, they started working on their next album, "GHOST IN THE MACHINE," but the "Oceania" leg was just before that. In particular, this work's Melbourne performance was the eighth performance, and it was the very final concert. Such shows are also known for being broadcast on FM, and the air checks were a major staple that have produced numerous previously released groups. This work is also a traditional FM sound board, and is the best master that updates the highest peak ever. After all, the basis of this work is not an air check, but a broadcast master. It is also a masterpiece among masterpieces that has been digitized from the best quality board carefully selected by overseas THE POLICE researchers. The sound is "completely official class" without question. Naturally, there are no dubbing marks from the origin, and there is no scratch noise, whether the condition of the master is frighteningly good. It seems that great care was taken when digitizing, and there is no sense of pitch deviation or unevenness in playback. The freshness of the master tape itself can be said to be due to the fact that it does not involve any radio waves, and because LPs are resistant to deterioration over time, they are able to retain the original sound better than magnetic tape. That is why, even when listening to it side by side with the genuine official album "LIVE!", it does not give in one step... no, it even wins. The full show of the precious "ZENYATTA MONDATTA Tour" is depicted with such an official masterpiece-class sound. The official live album "LIVE!" was a coupling of "REGGATTA DE BLANC Tour" and "SYNCHRONICITY Tour", and this work falls in between. Let's organize the set while comparing it with the official version. White Regatta (5 songs) Walking On the Moon / Deathwish (★) / Bring on the Night / The Bed's Too Big Without You / Message in a Bottle Zenyatta Mondatta (7 songs) Voices Inside My Head (★) / Don't Stand So Close To Me / Man In A Suitcase (★) / De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da / Shadows In The Rain (★) / When The World Is Running Down (★) / Driven to Tears (★) Others (5 songs + α) Outlandes d'Amour: Truth Hits Everybody / Roxanne / So Lonely Others: Fall Out / Can't Stand Losing You (Reggatta de Blanc / Be My Girl) *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song that could not be heard on the official album "LIVE!" ...And so, even if you combine the two performances of "LIVE!", there are six songs in the repertoire that cannot be heard. "Driven to Tears" was played during the reorganization, but the other five songs are unique to the early 1980s. In particular, "Deathwish" and "Man In A Suitcase" were last performed in 1981. Moreover, not only are there valuable songs, but you can enjoy the show that includes them in the same flow as the actual performance. "REGGATTA DE BLANC Tour" and "SYNCHRONICITY Tour" became "LIVE!", and "GHOST IN THE MACHINE Tour" was left with a video work. "ZENYATTA MONDATTA Tour" was sandwiched between them and was overlooked by the official. This work is the highest peak update of the full sound board that represents such a tour. It is a decisive board that boasts the same value as the official works and should be collected in the same row. Stereo sound board recording of "Melbourne performance on February 22, 1981". It is a master carefully selected by overseas THE POLICE researchers, and is a masterpiece among masterpieces that has been digitized from the best quality broadcast master. The sound is, without question, "completely official quality" with no dubbing marks, and there is no scratch noise or uneven playback. It is not inferior to the genuine official album "LIVE!" It is a supreme product that serves as the "official substitute" for the ZENYATTA MONDATTA Tour. Festival Hall, Melbourne, Australia 22nd February 1981 STEREO SBD(UPGRADE)Disc 1 (41:19) 01.
