Complete recording of the second live performance at Yoyogi International Stadium on March 5, 1988 with ultra-high quality audience recording. This is a sound source that was released under the title "Dedicate Sound Of Thunder Far East" in the past, but this edition is a master direct recording by obtaining the master tape directly from the recorder. The original was released on the Amity label in July 2009, but perhaps because of the release of the definitive version of Yoyogi "SIGNS OF LIVES" and its remastered version "DEFINITIVE YOYOGI 1988", the existence of this original sound source has not been given much attention. there is no. However, even if you listen to it again in 2021, the sound quality is so high that you will be left wondering, "Is this a cassette recording from back then?" , we have decided to release it with new artwork. The Budokan performance definitive edition ``THE GREAT GIG IN THE BUDOKAN'' and the Yoyogi definitive edition ``SIGNS OF LIVES'' are so amazing that these are the only things that stand out from the sound source that came to Japan in 1988, but I'm sorry to have to repeat it so many times. However, it really would be a waste to leave “TOKYO FROST” buried like this! It's a really wonderful recording sound source. It's a sound that seems to have been recorded using a high-quality microphone at a location a little far from the PA, and the scale and directness of the sound is certainly given over to "SIGNS OF LIVES," but if you listen to it alone, it's like, " There is no such thing as an amazing 1988 sound source!'' There is no doubt that everyone will be impressed and listen to it. Is it best to describe it as clear sound with excellent punch, with good clarity and solid sound localization, with little interference? It's recorded in such a way that it's really exciting, so please give it a listen. The powerful percussion and bass sound are also worth mentioning. In addition, the overall pitch is also accurately corrected. The spirited performance of The Dogs Of War in the second half of the first part is a masterpiece. Disc 2, which includes the second half of the show, is also recorded with great sound like the first half. The acoustic guitar sound of Wish You Were Here is amazing, and on the 1988 tour, I have never heard the same song sound so good. The on-beat numbers are recorded surprisingly clearly, such as Money, which starts with the intro SE that is neatly separated from left to right, and Another Brick In The Wall Part 2, which has an extremely powerful bass solo part in the second half. Like On The Turning Away at the end of the first part, Comfortably Numb, where you can feel the excitement on a large scale, is also a must-listen part. The encore One Slip has a tape twist around 0:50, but other than that it is recorded almost perfectly until the last Run Like Hell. Gilmore's guitar is recorded with a wonderful sound with an edge, and the overwhelming solo play that can be heard in each song is a must-see. A masterpiece worth adding to your collection. An overwhelming record of the 4th day of the Tokyo performance. Live at Yoyogi Olympic Pool, Tokyo, Japan 5th March 1988 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1(64:39) 1.
