This DVD contains the sound source of the Brighton Dome performance on January 20, 1972, famous as the world premiere of "Madness". "BRIGHTON JANUARY 1972" was released in 2016 and was well received, but this sound source was re-edited and released by a maniac in February of this year. There are two recording tapes on this day, both of which are mono, but the sound quality is good. The take called "Recorder 1" was recorded closer to the stage and is characterized by its close sound, while the sound source called "Recorder 2" is slightly further from the stage, but the sound image and positioning are very excellent. "Recorder 1" records from the beginning to "Breathe" and from "One of These Days" onwards in the latter half of the show. "Recorder 2" records the middle part of the show from Travel Sequence to Careful With That Axe, Eugene. This version has a little more hiss than "BRIGHTON JANUARY 1972", but the texture is RAW itself, and Gene's reliable sources are naturally combined and mixed to create a very easy-to-listen-to sound image. The freshness of the sound and the clarity of the high range are overwhelming, and Floyd fans who have been in contact with this sound source for a long time will be greatly surprised by its extraordinary high quality, just like the Sigma version. This new mix version of the show is full of highlights, including "Atom Heart Mother", which was suddenly replaced because the show was forced to be interrupted due to electronic noise and could not be completed. In particular, the part where the two sound sources are tastefully mixed is magnificent, and we declare that this is a new take that all fans must listen to.
