Until now, the only surviving recording of Floyd's November 11, 1970 Gothenburg concert was the analog bootleg "PICTURES OF PINK FLOYD". However, with the appearance of a (fairly credible) recording from the same day earlier this year, it has become impossible to know when and where this "PICTURES OF PINK FLOYD" recording was recorded. "PICTURES OF PINK FLOYD" was released on two records, "Volume 1" and "Volume 2". The A-side of "Volume 1" is the epic song "The Libest Spacement Monitor", which continues to fascinate all fans to this day. The B-side includes Fat Old Sun, followed by Blues and a 3-minute excerpt of Atom Heart Mother from the February 26, 1971 Offenbach concert in Germany. "Volume 2" includes a 4-minute cut-out take of Green Is The Colour on side A, a 19-minute A Saucerful Of Secrets on side B, and Atom Heart Mother on side B. The sound quality is of the highest level for an audience recording in 1970, and is enjoyable not only for enthusiasts but also for beginners. To coincide with the release of "Gothenburg 1970", we are releasing "PICTURES OF PINK FLOYD", which has been believed to be the sound source of that day, as a gift. This time, we used the best sound quality and pitch adjustment version ever, which was announced on the Internet by an overseas enthusiast under the title "Pictures Of Pink Floyd Restoration Project". The original recording was played on a high-end machine, the scratch noise was erased, and the high pitch was corrected overall. In particular, the last Atom Heart Mother's pitch gradually gets higher and higher, so you can enjoy the best version at the moment with the best sound. The highlight of the album is the aforementioned 22-minute long and unreleased song, The Libest Spacement Monitor. The title is introduced by Roger in the MC at the beginning. After a long improvisation reminiscent of the middle part of Atom Heart Mother, the psychedelic performance starts around the 5th minute with a beat and unique groove to match the bass riff. With a good balance of dynamics, you can enjoy the dramatic development of Embryo, which can be said to be the main theme of this work, in the latter half of the 9th minute with high sound quality. If you remove the subtle analog noise and further tighten the pitch, you will get high quality content and workmanship (even if you don't know the performance date). Please enjoy the amazing analog vintage sound of that time, which is completely undegraded and extremely fresh. Disc 1(45:01) Pictures Of Pink Floyd Volume 1 1. The Libest Spacement Monitor 2.
