This is the upper version of the tape source of Atom Heart Mother from the Hamburg performance on February 25, 1971. (Originally a 3rd Gen tape copied to Maxell XLIII-S) The sound quality is more appropriate and clearer because the tape recorded in Dolby was faithfully played on Dolby On. It is safe to say that the sound quality of this board is the best take of Atom Heart Mother in Hamburg. This tape was originally a 29-minute take of the reprise part of Atom Heart Mother, which was not included in the original, so in the second half, a high-quality audience recording take of the reprise part that also appeared two years ago has been added. (There is a cut between the main part and the reprise, but considering the importance of the sound source, this part is recorded without crossfading or other processing.) A new version of AHM 3RD GEN, which has been a hot topic among enthusiasts, has recently appeared on the Internet. The sound quality is truly amazing. Please enjoy Floyd's historical performance with the best sound. Grosser Saal Musikhalle, Hamburg, Germany 25th February 1971 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Maxell XLII-S 60 3rd gen cassette (34:30) 1.
