Pink Floyd released the album "Duel" in 1994. It was their first album in seven years since "A Momentary Lapse," and it became a worldwide bestseller. This album, which was produced by Gilmour, had been released intermittently since the previous year, and Richard Wright, who had left the band due to a conflict with Waters, was also a full member and took on lead vocals. The woman who wrote the lyrics for this album would later become Mrs. Gilmour. Reflecting the release of the album and the good sales, Pink Floyd went on a large-scale world tour, "The Division Bell Tour," with a total of 112 shows. The live album "Pulse" was born from this tour.
