The contents of this work are Soundscape (SE) and "Astronomy Domine". This soundscape was used at the beginning of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR” and is FLOYD's signature sound collage. Spacey synth sounds, the babbling of a stream, the cries of birds, frogs, and dogs, and the sounds of tillers (?) and airplane engines all flow one after another, creating a world over the course of approximately 22 minutes. This soundscape was not only used at the venue, but was actually made into an official work. It was included in the 2-disc cassette version of "P.U.L.S.E". However, even the cassette version is available in a limited number of countries, and this work was digitized directly from the mint quality British cassette "EMI 724383270248". The “world of sound” depicted with such ultimate quality is exquisite. After all, FLOYD's aesthetic sense of sound effects is completely different from that of regular bands. The sense of fantasy that comes from the fact that each sound is real is overwhelming, and the way completely different scenes overlap and change is extremely surreal. It must have been amazing to hear it at a concert, but when you immerse yourself in it with headphones, it's overwhelming. This is avant-garde music that has reached the level of sound sculpture. The famous song "Astronomy" comes after being toyed with by the feeling of another world flying from the mountains of nature to the far reaches of space. Although it was not played at the “October 20th” performance that became the main press 2CD, it was the opening number for some shows. Of course, it is the soundboard live of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR”. It goes without saying that the performance is wonderful, and you can enjoy the official sound of the performance at the beginning of the performance. And even more than that, the warp drive feeling of being pulled back to the concert venue from the edge of the universe at once is amazing.
