The masterpiece of “A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON Tour” and the iconic soundboard album that is also called “Real Version of Light: PERFECT LIVE!” has been fully brushed up. Introducing 4CDs refined with detailed mastering by "GRAF ZEPPELIN". [A true “PERFECT LIVE!” that can be enjoyed with a live feeling throughout] What is recorded on the masterpiece sound board is “August 20th + 21st, 1988 Nassau Coliseum performance”. It is a transcendental stereo sound board recording. Speaking of "Nassau 1988", it is also famous for producing the official live work "Hikari: PERFECT LIVE!", but the official work is an edited work compiled from 5 consecutive nights of performances. On the other hand, this work is a "real live" that was recorded in one live performance. It is a sound board leaked by those involved in the two performances (August 20th/21st). However, it is not "2 performances / 4 disc set = 2 disc set x 2", it is a little special. First of all, let's keep in mind the format of this work. ・DISC 1: August 20th (Part 1) ・DISC 2: August 20th (Part 2) ・DISC 3: August 20th (Encore) ・DISC 4: August 21st (Part 1) ...and it looks like this. “A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON Tour” has three sections: “Part 1 = mainly depression / Part 2 = Classics / 2 encore songs”, and this work will be divided into 3 sections according to the “August 20th” performance. Fully recorded as a disc set. Furthermore, it is a 4-disc set with only the first part of “August 21st” the next day placed on DISC 4. At this point, you may be thinking, "The official PERFECT LIVE! has also released a complete version," but it's not that simple. As mentioned above, ``Hikari'' is an edited work, and each song was brought from another live performance. There is no sense of continuity of a single live performance that flows non-stop. Moreover, it is obvious from the form. The official complete version is a two-disc set, and "Encore + Part 2" is made into one disc. Of course, this doesn't just cut out the encore waiting period. Even if you take only the "second part" part, "official = approximately 63 minutes", while "this work = approximately 73 minutes". The performance continues in rapid succession at a pace that would be impossible in a live performance, and the feeling is completely different from the real experience. [Ultimate edition repolished with ultra-precision mastering] Now that you understand the meaning of "Real version of light: PERFECT LIVE!", let's move on to the main topic. This is the quality that is the biggest point of this work. The origin of this sound board was a leaked master discovered in 2013, and its definitive edition was "NASSAU COLISEUM 1988", which was refined and upgraded by overseas enthusiasts in 2015. This work is a full re-examination of that "Sigma 120". "GRAF ZEPPELIN", which has a reputation for mastering vintage recordings, has been carefully refined and is the highest updated version. It was so-called "completely official grade," but when we checked the waveform at an instantaneous level, there was still room for improvement. As expected, there was no missing part in the pitch, but the volume was adjusted to the limit without destroying the waveform, and the phase shift was corrected down to 1/1000 seconds. And above all, chipping correction. In fact, in the master produced by the aforementioned overseas enthusiast, there was a momentary (2 second) omission in “Us And Them.” And not between songs, but right in the middle of the performance. It wasn't a problem (no one noticed) because it was at the level of one note on the phone and the beats were perfectly synchronized, but it was discovered during this detailed investigation. It goes back to Wolfgang's leaked master, which is the source, and supplements it (by the way, the MC after the end of "The Dogs Of War" is also supplemented with about 2 seconds AUD). This work, polished with utmost precision, is truly a supreme live album. As mentioned above, each point is so minute that it may be difficult to notice the difference, but when dust accumulates, it becomes a mountain. The audio quality remains impregnable throughout the entire volume, and even the words "completely official quality" feel empty. In other words, even if you listen to it side by side with the official complete version "Hikari: PERFECT LIVE!", it won't give up even half a step. This work can be distinguished because it has the rawness of an unprocessed on-site mix, but if you give it even a little attention, you'll wonder, "Is it the official one I'm listening to now?" The Nassau Soundboard seemed to have finished its role when the official “Hikari: PERFECT LIVE!” evolved into a longer and complete version. However, the actual official product only increased the number of songs, but was far from the "complete form of the show". This work is a soundboard album that allows you to fully experience “A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON Tour” with the splendor of such a “through experience”. This is its ultimate form. Because it's the pinnacle, I want to own it as an exquisite product. Superb stereo soundboard recording of "August 20 + 21, 1988 Nassau Coliseum Performance". This is a 4-disc set that includes the 3-disc full recording of "August 20th" and the addition of "August 21st (first part only)." The master leaked by those involved, which has been loved as the masterpiece of the "Utsu Tour", has been thoroughly refined, and in addition to the perfect pitch, the last minute volume adjustment that does not destroy the waveform, and the phase shift down to 1/1000 seconds. Also corrected. Furthermore, the missing part (2 seconds) of “Us And Them”, which was missing in the conventional version, is complemented by the sound board. We have achieved the ultimate form of a masterpiece. This is "True PERFECT LIVE!", which has a quality comparable to official live works, but can be enjoyed with a sense of continuity because it is a single stage performance. Remaster Memo I also increased the volume by normalizing (I did not use a limiter to crush the waveform). The missing beginning of Disc 2's "US & THEM" is the newly repaired part. The track positions are based on the latest official CD live. *Round And Round*Time*US & THEM *Another Brick The track position may be a matter of personal preference, but Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY, USA 20th & 21st August 1988 STEREO SBD(UPGRADE) Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY, USA 20th August 1988 Disc 1(68:32) 01.
