This is a shocking release from PINK FLOYD in the 70's. The other day, we delivered amazing Japanese performance titles such as “COMPLETE APHRODITE 1971” and “TOKYO 1972 2ND NIGHT”, but this work goes back even further to “July 18, 1970”. This is a live album containing a free concert held at Hyde Park in his home country of England. There is also a definitive DVD version of this concert called ``HYDE PARK 1970,'' but that was only a partial recording of about 40 minutes. Other than that, two types of audience recordings, “RECORDER 1” and “RECORDER 2”, have been confirmed, and this work is a two-disc set with the best masters of these two types arranged on each disc. These recordings have been known for a long time, but the master of this work is a definitive one that “no higher quality is possible”. Let's introduce them step by step. First of all, the main premise is that “RECORDER 1” and “RECORDER 2” are both incomplete recordings. “RECORDER 1” is a recording of about 39 minutes and does not include “Atom Heart Mother.” On the other hand, "RECORDER 2" is about 50 minutes long and lacks the opening songs "Blues" and "The Embryo." These two types are in circulation among the trade, and the existing group has combined them to create a pseudo full-length album. Famous ones include "ATOM HYDE PARK" and "HYDE PARK 1970 AUDIENCE RECORDING." On the other hand, this work contains the best versions of “RECORDER 1” and “RECORDER 2” without any editing. Here's the important part. Both “RECORDER 1 and 2” of this work pursue supremacy and supremacy, but “RECORDER 2” is especially amazing. This time, we were able to contact the owner of the original master, and succeeded in digitizing directly from the original master, which had not been available anywhere until now. If you look at the original version of ``RECORDER 2,'' you'll end up with this person, but what he released at the time was a dub on an MD, and he hasn't let anyone listen to it since then. In other words, until now, only the compressed audio of MDs has been distributed around the world. However, this time we digitized the master reel directly to DAT (lossless of course). This work is the one that encapsulates it on CD. This is a sound that has only been experienced by outsiders twice so far (the first time was to the MD, and the second time was this time), so in order to make the most of this precious opportunity, we were particular about the digitization process and made the best preparation possible. Utilizes high-end, high-end equipment. Until now, no matter how many core enthusiasts/researchers of PINK FLOYD, we have brought to the world a "master sound" that has never been heard before! The sound is truly exquisite vintage. Speaking of ``RECORDER 2'', even the conventional compressed audio version is a famous recording that has been said to be ``one of the closest sounds of the 1970s'' and ``clear even to the subtleties of the performance.'' Since it is that master sound, it breathes out the atmosphere that was hanging in Hyde Park with a freshness as if it was recorded yesterday. The sound is so thick that you can't believe it's outdoors, and it's a fantastic sound, yet it's so realistic. Although there is plenty of the feel of the instruments and equipment from that time, it is so fresh that it is hard to believe that it has jumped over 46 years. However, since the original sound provided by the master owner was simply a transfer of the sound from the master reel, there was some pitch distortion (albeit a slight one). In this work, while making the most of the "ringing" of the original reel sound, we have adjusted the pitch and sound pressure to create a balance that matches modern audio equipment. Although the order of the introduction has been reversed, “RECORDER 1” contained in Disc 1 is also not ordinary. The recording itself is the same as the previously released “ATOM HYDE PARK”, but this was also brought from the same person as “RECORDER 2”. From the original version first released via “YEESHKUL”, it has been mastered to the highest level with the same mastering as “RECORDER 2”. This has a thinner bass compared to "RECORDER 2" and the backing is also modest. Instead, the edges of the mid-high tones are clear, and above all, the vocals are vivid. To be honest, the sound of the wind blowing through the scene is also picked up, but it also creates a sense of historical spectacle and the reality of 46 years. It was possible to adjust these characteristics with digital mastering, but that would spoil the taste of the original sound. In this work, as with "RECORDER 2", we only adjusted the sound pressure and pitch to accurately reproduce the realism of the master. ``RECORDER 2'', the original reel sound version, will be released for the first time worldwide, and ``RECORDER 1'', which has the highest quality sound at the time of excavation. Both are masterpieces that take you to Hyde Park 46 years ago with the best quality that "couldn't be any better." Following the "shocking work" "COMPLETE APHRODITE 1971", this is a book where you can encounter the "real" PINK FLOYD of the early 1970s.
