Titled "Since We Were Teenagers," this is a remastered collection of ultra-high quality sound sources that have appeared in recent years. A superb audience recording of the Santa Monica performance on May 1st at the end of the first North American tour in 1970. First of all, the attention was drawn to the upper level of the sound quality, the longest version of 2 hours that appeared three years ago and includes the three songs that were missing until then: Green Is The Colour, Careful With That Ax, Eugene, and A Saucerful Of Secrets ( It is recorded with the best sound quality that completely exceeds the 1st Gen take from the master reel. The difference is so obvious that you can hear it at first glance, and you can feel the overwhelming difference in the clarity, punch, scale, and amount of information itself, and you wonder if the sound image changes this much due to the difference in generation. You can feel it again. This take is a direct digitization of the 5" reel master, and uses a tape from a younger generation than the longest version that circulated three years ago. Speaking of the 1970 Santa Monica performance, it was the first in America. It is a live concert that Floyd fans have a deep fondness for, recorded on the analog bootleg LP "Omayyad" (TMOQ), which is said to be a bootleg version of Floyd's Floyd. Isn't it a deep emotion for enthusiasts? During this historical excavation, all the cut points that were shortcomings of the Santa Monica performance recording were carefully compensated for with other sound sources. The first song, Grantchester Meadows, was recorded for about 30 seconds as the ending part, but this take was made by connecting the best version of the "KQED" take from the San Francisco performance on April 29th, resulting in a stunning 7 minutes and 40 seconds. It creates a great intro part. This patch processing and sound image correction are also wonderful, and although it can be said that it is possible because they are masters of the highest sound quality, there is no sense of discomfort at all. What a wonderful thing to be able to listen to that historic Santa Monica sound source from the moody “Birdsong” SE! The tape drop at the 14th minute of “Atom Heart Mother”, which was named “The Amazing Pudding” at that time, has also been corrected very nicely. The missing part from around 2:30 to 3:50 in Careful With That Ax, Eugene has been patched from the December 6, 1969 Talbot performance (AFAN Festival) sound source without any discomfort. It's handled so well that I would never have known if it hadn't been pointed out to me, and I'm really impressed by the high level of workmanship. As a result, it is a version that is 10 minutes longer than the 1st GEN take that appeared in 2008 (this is included in SIRENE's "HEAVY HUNG"), and it is the arrival of the "ultimate upgraded version" that has been "totally restored". I can say that. Live at Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica, CA. USA 1st May 1970 PERFECT SOUND(UPGRADE) Disc 1(51:20) 1. Grantchester Meadows 2. Astronomy Domine 3. Cymbaline 4.
