A phantom recording that was only distributed among core collectors and whose existence was only rumored has suddenly surfaced. The release has been decided. What is infused into this work is “April 20, 1975 Tempe performance”. This is a vintage audience recording recorded in one act of “WISH YOU WERE HERE Tour”. Before we get into the details, let's talk about the show's position. This is also a good opportunity, so let's take a look at the schedule at that time.・April 8th-21st: North America #1a (8 performances) ←★Here★ ・April 23rd-27th: North America #1b (LA5 performances) ・June 7th-28th: North America #2 (15 Performance) July 5th: Performance at Knebworth Festival [“WISH YOU WERE HERE” released on September 12th] This is PINK FLOYD in 1975. They toured North America twice in April and June, with the highlight of April being five consecutive performances in LA. The Tempe performance of this work was the 7th concert of “North America #1” just before that. Although a recording of this show was on the Core Trader list, it has not been available as an actual sound for many years. It was such a phantom sound source that some people speculated that it might have been a date recording error. However, the illusion finally surfaced. Recently, a collector happened to find a DAT he had been trading in his collection, digitized it, and made it available to the public. The sound is an indescribably strong and powerful vintage recording. As expected, it has been a fantasy for many years, so it is not the type to compete for the title of tour representative work, but it is not the type to search for unreliable performance sounds among the noise. A core with density and rushing power approaches and mercilessly penetrates the sound of the hall. When the performance heats up, it can sometimes crack, but even that feel is natural and unlike Loudness War, which failed in mastering, it doesn't stick. If I were to compare this nuance to KING CRIMSON's ``EARTHBOUND'' (although the band is different), I would say that it is a close analogy. Of course, this work is one step rougher, but it is wild but not hard to listen to, and the sound overflows with the "rock power that comes from being rough". A night in Toronto in 1975 that I never knew existed. It is an excavation of a phantom sound source that conveys the whole picture. Although it is not the type to be touted as a masterpiece of the century, there is no doubt that you can enjoy plenty of powerful performances that do not just fill one page of history. This is a live album that we fully recommend not only to collectors who were captivated by the joy of experiencing their first show, but also to those who want to experience the charm of "lo-fi Floyd." A phantom audience recording that was kept secret only by core collectors has been released. This is a valuable live album that allows you to experience the "WISH YOU WERE HERE Tour" with a powerful lo-fi sound like KING CRIMSON's "EARTHBOUND".
