Phil Collins rose to the top of the scene in 1985 with the astronomical hit of "NO JACKET REQUIRED." A super masterpiece video symbolizing that heyday has been decided to be released. This work includes a multi-camera professional shot of “May 29, 1985 Dallas Performance”. Yes, this is a detailed DVD version of the official video masterpiece "NO TICKET REQUIRED", which has been out of print for a long time. Although it is a video work that symbolizes "The No Jacket Required World Tour" which is in the midst of a huge hit, it is a masterpiece among masterpieces that has not yet been released on official DVD. First of all, let’s check the position of the show from the panoramic view of the tour that was the stage.・February 11th to 23rd: UK (12 performances) [“NO JACKET REQUIRED” released on February 18th] ・February 25th to March 17th: Europe (18 performances) ・March 30th to April 20th: Australia (14 performances), April 23rd-27th: Japan (5 performances), May 12th-July 2nd: North America (41 performances) ←★Here★, July 13th: LIVE AID (2 performances in UK and US) This is Phil Collins in 1985. The legendary solo first visit to Japan and the feat at “LIVE AID”, which moved two video venues at Concorde, are memorable, but the main part of the tour was the “North American” leg that took place in between. The Dallas performance of this work was the 15th concert. This work taken at such a show is (of course) a completely official professional shot. It was digitized from the Japanese version released at the time, but it seems that the master was in excellent condition, and the glossy colors show no signs of deterioration over time, not to mention white line noise, and there is no tape twist. I can't feel any unevenness at all. For eyes accustomed to today's ultra-vivid digital image quality, the edges are a bit sweet and the texture is soft, but this is not a problem with image quality, but rather an aesthetic sense unique to the 1980s. Rather than a live video, it is a highly complete and rich visual beauty that makes you feel like you are watching a PV collection of performance scenes. What makes the PV even more appealing is the impenetrable ensemble and perfectly controlled shooting. It may be because the loud cheers are far away and small, but the performance you hear is as smooth as if it were recorded in a studio. What's more, each cut of the video showing the performance is like a photo session, and the images change in a way that closely follows the song's idea. Has it been lavishly edited from a huge number of cuts, or has it undergone careful camera rehearsal? Although there are no particularly eccentric productions or gimmicks, the gorgeous sense of aesthetic sense and perfection makes it feel more like a PV collection than a live video. Even such extreme quality fades away, the gorgeous show itself. Anyway, the current hit songs are constantly being played out one after another. Regarding this, it's more evidence than argument (?). Experience the luxury of organizing your set. HELLO, I MUST BE GOING! (4 songs)・The West Side/Like China/You Can't Hurry Love/It Don't Matter To Me NO JACKET REQUIRED (5 songs)・Only You Know And I Know/Who Said I Would/Sussudio/One More Night/Take Me Home Others (5 songs)・FACE VALUE: Behind The Lines/In The Air Tonight/Hand In Hand・Others: Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)/It's All Right... it looks like this. The first three albums are lined up with a huge collection of famous songs, and the 80's classics like ``Like China'' and THE IMPRESSIONS cover ``It's All Right'' add some spice. The glorious “The No Jacket Required World Tour” that captivated the entire world will be depicted. The GENESIS family in the 1980s was a time when everyone involved was making big hits. It is a video masterpiece that allows you to witness the peak tour of Phil Collins, who had the greatest success among them. It's a loss for popular music as a whole for a work like this to go out of print. This is a DVD with the highest quality of the decisive video.
