A rare recording of a live performance at the Ritz in New York on February 7, 1986, just before the release of "COVER GIRL," the second and last album by the three-piece band formed by Stray Cats' Slim Jim & Lee Rocker and Earl Slick, a guitarist known for participating in recordings by David Bowie and John Lennon after the breakup of the Stray Cats, Phantom, Rocker & Slick, was released! Recorded from a cassette of an air check of a live performance broadcast by WNEW FM, it is a high-quality stereo soundboard recording with impeccable mix and balance, and is recorded with clear sound quality that is excellent in terms of clarity and power. The pitch deviation caused by the master has also been carefully corrected. It's a shame that the intro to "Green River" is missing, but the rest of the recording is complete. The band will feature Kevin Russell on guitar as a support member, and the set list will be centered around songs from their debut album, including "Enough Is Enough" from "COVER GIRL," a cover of CCR's "Green River," and in the encore they will play rare covers not included on the album, such as the Beatles' cover "One After 909" and the Stray Cats' "Drink That Bottle Down"!!
