This recording is a recording of the band's appearance at the Reading Festival on August 26, 1973, with the latest digital remastering to the excellent audience master from that time. First of all, the original master is famous for the miraculous quality of outdoor live performances in the 1970s, and while it has been in circulation for some time, this is a definitive upgraded version, with each range carefully adjusted from high to low, and the noise that occurred in "Photos of Ghosts" corrected. Then, after the sound check, there is an MC, and each instrument is added little by little, starting dramatically with "River of Life" with Mussida's acoustic guitar, and then the world of the masterpiece "Phantom Images" unfolds, with the free-form "Mr. 9 'till 5" featuring a highly advanced and free ensemble, and the 11-minute "Instrumental" that follows it features solos by each member. Furthermore, in the masterpiece "Photos Of Ghosts", Mauro Pagani's violin swallowed up the whole venue, and until the last "La Carrozza Di Hans" from "Fantasy Story", this is a truly historic live performance in the best quality. The bonus tracks include a demonstration of "September Scene" from "Fantasy Story" at a TV studio live in 1972, and "Dove...Quando...(Part 2)", which are soundboard recordings. In addition, a DVD containing professional shot footage aired on the Italian TV station "RAI UNO" in 1972 is also included. This is a rare video from the very early days, just after the band made their debut in their home country with "Fantasy Story". Although it is about 8 minutes of black and white footage, the image quality is official class. After an explanation of the equipment, the five members of "Fantasy Story" play "Dove...Quando...(Part 2)", and the sharp-eyed Mauro Pagani plays a beautiful melody and the moving Georgio Piazza is there, which is a must-see.
