This is a recording of a rare live TV studio performance by PFM, broadcast on the Italian TV station "Raiuno" in 1972, before their world debut. (It was a year later that they appeared at the Reading Festival in the UK on August 26, 1973, and caused a sensation around the world.) It is only 8 minutes of black and white footage, but the quality of both the picture and sound is official. At the beginning, there is a Q&A with the presenter and Flavio Premori about the Metroton and the Minimoog, and a demonstration scene, which is a must-see for vintage keyboard fans. (He calls the Moog "Mooga.") In the synth test scene, you can hear a passage from Impressioni di settembre (September Scenes). After that, the presenter introduces the group and they all play Dove...Quando...(Part 2). Mauro Pagani's beautiful performance on the flute will bring tears to the eyes of any fan. The bassist is original member Giorgio Piazza. Although the recording time is short, you can see PFM's performance from this period in perfect quality that cannot be compared to the video era. The DVD master of "NIGHTS OF CELEBRATION" from 2006 is used. This time, the original menu is also included. Live at studio, Italian TV Rai Uno 1972 PRO-SHOT 1. Dove...Quando...(Part 2) Franz Di Cioccio - Drums Franco Mussida - Guitars Mauro Pagani - Violin, Flute Flavio Premoli - Keyboards, Accordeon, Piccolo Giorgio Piazza - Bass PRO-SHOT B&W NTSC Approx. 8min.
