A complete recording of the March 12, 1989 performance in New Haven, Connecticut from the first solo club tour, digitally remastered on a good soundboard. Taking advantage of the time off as a band between "CRAZY NIGHTS" and "HOT IN THE SHADE," Paul finally went on a solo tour that he had been warming up for many years. Backing up was lead guitarist Bob Kulick, an old friend of Paul's and the older brother of KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick at the time, Eric Singer, who would later join KISS, on drums, and Dennis on bass. The lineup includes St. James and Gary Corbett on keyboards. It is extremely rare as it is an excavated sound source from a short tour that was club-sized and had few performances. Songs from his first solo album in 1978, including "Tonight You Belong To Me," "Wouldn't You Like To Know Me" and "Goodbye," were performed for the first time on this tour. Also, there are plenty of highlights unique to this tour, such as "Hide Your Heart" co-written with Desmond Child, which was unreleased at this point, "Communication Breakdown" performed in full, and the playful "New York Groove"!
