After the release of "Muddy Water Blues: Tribute To Muddy Waters" in 1993, the band toured the US to honour Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix, and recorded live performances at Electric Lady Studios in New York on April 29th of that year, and at the Hollywood Trouvadour on November 23rd, both on stereo soundboards from the FM on-air master. In addition to Rogers, Neal Schon, who also participated in the album, Todd Jensen, Dean Castranova and others have a superb combination and exquisite ensemble that matches perfectly with the soulful and bluesy vocals. In addition, Slash also makes an appearance at the Hollywood concert, and in addition to covers, they also performed a wide range of free and Bad Cannon classics.
