Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the album's release, Paul McCartney & Wings' 1975 album "Venus and Mars" is now available as a 2-CD special edition with the latest edit. Unlike the usual remaster, Atmos, which has been talked about as something different from the original, includes two new remixes from the sound source that was converted into a 3D sound multi-channel based on the master tape from the studio recording session. The "Stereo Downmix" on CD1 is a straight stereo conversion from Atmos multi-channel, and unlike the previous album versions, it is immediately clear that it is a sound source that has been re-edited from the multi-channel where the vocals, chorus, and each instrument part were separated. The sound quality itself has been improved to a new level, and previously buried sounds can now be heard clearly, and in some songs, the performance itself has been newly mixed from a different take. CD2 includes a separate remix called "Multichannel Separated," which is different from a straight downmix. This is a clearer remix of each part from the multitrack, with realistic vocals and choruses, and the guitar, bass, and drums are further separated, making it easier to understand the differences from previous mixes. Compared to the original album, this is a completely alternate version, evoking new discoveries and emotions, and is a noteworthy 2025 latest edited special edition! All tracks on the album are included on CD with the latest remixes from the highly talked about Atmos multi-channel sound source, which is different from previous releases.
