After the Beatles disbanded, Paul decided to form a new band and go on tour in order to clear up the differences of opinion between the members regarding live activities, which was the cause of their disbandment. The Beatles' first stage performance after disbanding was in 1972. It was after a period of about two years. During this time, he has been steadily making progress, including releasing new songs that he had been working on since the Get Back sessions as a solo album, and auditioning session musicians for potential new band members in anticipation of going on tour in the near future. It was progressing. His first solo album, ``McCartney,'' was full of charming songs such as ``The Frustration of Being in Love'' and ``Junk,'' but it was just a diamond in the rough, and it had not been sublimated to the point where it emits the dazzling light that it does today. It was something that didn't exist. Even Ringo said, ``Paul is wasting his talent.'' However, ``Rum'', which follows ``McCartney'', which was a home recording, is dominated by the complete band sound, became the No. 1 single in the United States, and is now highly regarded as a masterpiece. WINGS is a newly formed band based on the recording members of "Ram". Wings' first album, ``WINGS WILD LIFE,'' was released in 1971. Wings led by Paul went on a full-scale tour in 1972. In July and August 1972, they toured around Europe traveling by tour bus. It turns out that the set list is slightly different between July and August, and the August 11, 1972 Swedish performance included in this work is the second leg. The feature of this second leg, above all else, is the opening. An instrumental number with intense riffs is played one after another, serving as an overture to signal the beginning of the concert. This method was the first to be followed later by Zeppelin, Elton John, Billy Joel, and others. The first song is ``Come on out, young lady.'' Setlists such as "Bip Bop" and "Mumbo" are unimaginable today, but that's why this rare setlist is the charm of live shows from this era. Paul, who was aiming for success as a band, initially did not name the band after his own name and simply called it ``Wings.'' At this point, the band had only released one album and a few singles, and had an overwhelmingly small number of songs. Therefore, the setlist includes songs released on solo albums and cover songs, exposing the contradiction that the name Paul McCartney and the band Wings are inseparable, just as fans know. Also, in the encore, he plays "Sally the Noppo", which is probably Paul's response to fans who want Wings to have a nostalgic Beatles feel. I'm reluctant to play a Beatles song, but since it's a cover, Wings' concert ends with the same song that used to end concerts during the Beatles era. What is noteworthy is that there are many unreleased songs up until now, and that they are playing many songs that have not been released yet. Wings' second album, Red Rose Speedway, was released in 1973. However, at this point in 1972, you can already see that “My Love” is being played at an important position at the end of the concert. In addition, the unreleased songs that were originally planned to be a two-disc set but were omitted during the process of being condensed into one and were later released as "COLD CUTS" were already being performed on stage as new songs. What is interesting is that Mainly songs from "Rum" and "Wild Life", as well as songs from "Red Rose Speedway" that were unreleased at this time, and unreleased songs that were scheduled to be included on the same album. So, the tour of this era is structured. There are many songs that will probably never be performed again, and the live performance is filled with the youthful, rough, rough atmosphere of early Wings. This work is a complete recording of the Lund performance in Sweden on August 11, 1972 with high sound quality. Furthermore, the bonus track includes the August 7th Stockholm performance in Sweden, which is the first sound source. Olympen Lund Sweden August 11, 1972 DISC ONE 01. Instrumental - Eat At Home 02.
