Let's play the roaring sound at full volume and think back to 1976 when it was released! ! <WINGS OVER AMERICA: Explanation> Wings began their world tour in the UK in September 1975, and after an Australian tour in November and a European tour in March 1976, they went on a large-scale US tour titled "Wings Over America" in May of the same year. The tour, which began on May 3rd in Fort Worth, Texas, played 31 shows in 26 cities before concluding on June 23rd in Los Angeles. The Seattle Kingdome performance on June 10th drew an indoor audience record of 67,000 people, and the tour as a whole drew about 600,000 people, making it a huge success. This album is a compilation of the best takes from the recordings of the American shows, and contains a total of 28 songs, including five Beatles numbers, on a 3-LP set (2-CD set). The limited edition "Paper Jacket CD" version released in Japan reproduced the original and was released as a 3-CD set. In Japan, it was released under the title "Wings U.S.A.
