Although there have been many previous releases of Wings' "One Hand Clapping," this album is dominated by recordings from the first time, and fans will be surprised. This is the latest in a series of never-before-heard leaked session recordings, recorded in chronological order across two CDs. Disc 4 contains the August 30, 1974 session of "Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five," two rough mixes, and other effects and orchestral parts. Next is the overdub session that took place on October 1, 1974. As expected, they couldn't bring an orchestra into the studio, so you can hear the orchestra layered over the already recorded "Live And Let Die," "My Love," and "Band On The Run." What's interesting is the track where Linda and Denny add chorus to a take without Paul's vocals. It's almost like you can see them singing into one microphone. "Bluebird" includes the impressive saxophone overdubs. Disc 5 contains the retake session that took place on October 9, 1974. The One Hand Clapping session and recording were completed at the end of August, but the band was not satisfied with the final product, so they re-recorded three songs again in October. The re-recorded songs were "Jet," "Soily," and "Junior's Farm." In addition, a brass band overdub and mix was done on "Baby Face" on October 13, 1974 for the video work. Also included as bonus tracks are three songs, "Junior'r Farm", "Jet" and "Soily", taken from acetate recordings created by Geoff Emerick. DISC THREE August 28, 1974 "Cabaret Sequence" 01.
