Although there have been many previous releases of Wings' "One Hand Clapping," this album is dominated by the first-time recordings, and fans will be surprised. This is the latest in a series of never-before-heard session leaks, recorded in chronological order across three CDs. Disc 1 contains the session from August 26, 1974. The opening jingle "One Hand Clapping" also has multiple takes/versions, and even chats before and after. "Jet" and "Junior's Farm" are recorded with raw takes of very rough singing and playing. The fast-paced performances of this era are truly amazing. You can hear it in Paul's singing without any effects. "Let Me Roll It" includes a raw take that starts with a loud count after the guitar sound is confirmed, as well as a version without any effects on the vocals. These raw takes are one of the highlights of this album, with vocals that sound as if they were being sung right in front of you. The rehearsal recording of "Little Woman Love" gives a sense of the atmosphere of the studio along with the conversation between Paul and Linda. Disc 2 contains the session from August 27, 1974. The raw take of "Band On The Run" was also recorded from the studio before the performance, and the extremely loud bass sound is also a characteristic of Wings. In all of the songs on this album, the raw vocals directly reaffirm the charm of Paul's singing. Unlike the later tours, the intro of "Go Now" is played on an electric piano, which is unique to the studio. "Bluebird" was recorded from the scene where Paul gives instructions before the performance and Linda responds playfully. And the famous unreleased song [Soily] is an outtake that was not used. The raw take of "Live And Let Die" is also uneffected vocals and slapstick drums like the other songs. The first half of Disc 3 contains the session from August 28, 1974. On this day, Paul is singing and playing the piano instead of the band. The so-called "BACKYARD TAPE" recorded in the second half of Disc 3 is also the longest recording ever, including the first appearance of the sound source. What do you think? The sessions held at the end of August 1974 are recorded chronologically, song by song. Furthermore, the re-recording and overdub sessions from October onwards, One Hand Clapping's session sound source is also the best here. As with the previous RECORDING VAULT series, most of the sound sources are first appearances, and the takes that have been heard so far are also recorded for a long time, including the chat before and after the songs. This is exactly the title that Wings fans have been looking for. A ONE HAND set including many first-time recordings, and chats before and after the songs.
