I think we have reached the peak of the 2010s...I can't help but think that Paul is so completely invincible that he is about to come to Japan. Her long-awaited new album was a big hit, and her appearance has become more toned and has evolved into an elegant style that takes advantage of her gray hair. What's more, when you see him dancing to his own songs on social media, it's hard to believe he's an old man in his 70s. Her dancing is much more flexible than when she sang "P.S. Love Me Do" without any instruments (lol). There are already two types of latest live videos, as if to express Paul's confidence that he can be called in top condition without any doubt. That was “LIVE FROM NYC” in the already released “UNDER THE STAIRCASE”, but this time the video from the main part of the Freshen Up Tour will finally appear! Now that I think about it, it was because the album production was in its final stages, but plans for Paul's live activities this year were slow to be announced. Under such circumstances, the first live performance that was revealed was at the "AUSTIN CITY LIMITS MUSIC FESTIVAL" held in Austin this month. After that, the entire tour was announced and it continues to this day, but the first stage of the festival performance in Austin, which was held for two weeks, on October 5th was streamed a few days later, and it was also streamed in the morning in Japan. I think many people saw it. What was groundbreaking about this broadcast was that the festival itself was an event connected to PBS, a public broadcasting station, so live broadcasting was guaranteed. Not only that, but the fact that the entire show was broadcast this time was a big plus. A similar broadcast was made in 2013 when they performed at an event called "OUTSIDE LANDS FESTIVAL," but only about one-third of the actual live performance was shown, and the Japanese performance was broadcast later. There was a video showing that the value had been halved. However, this time the entire live show will be broadcast properly. This year's Paul has already been blessed with two pro-shot live videos, but this will coincide with the appearance of a stunning pro-shot from the main part of the Freshen Up Tour. Of course, the images of special gigs such as Abbey Road Studio and Grand Central Station are attractive, but it is the main stage where the album is released and the engine is fully open that I want to see high-quality live images. Paul's confidence this year can be seen from the fact that he easily fulfilled the wishes of his fans. They have already played a few shows since the start of the tour, and both Paul and the band are in great shape. In addition, the slightly toned look of the pole is so cool that it looks great in professional shots. His singing voice is incomparable to the beginning of "UNDER THE STAIRCASE", which also served as a warm-up. I am reminded that this is the condition of the main part of the tour. Because of this, the shout of "Maybe I'm Amazed", which seemed to be declining for a while, is now able to be sung powerfully even as he gets older, and it is clearly captured. This may also be a technique that Paul can use with his current confidence. Besides, what you can't miss is the horn section's success that was revealed at the Grand Central Station gig. With their addition, the parts that had previously been supplemented by Wicks' keyboard samples were suddenly reborn into a more realistic and exciting sound. They had already proven their power with songs such as “Letting Go” and “Lady Madonna” at the gig, but they will be featured on a larger scale in the main part of the tour. Among them, the finale "Golden Slumbers - Carry That Weight - The End" excites the performance with its wonderful presence. For some reason, sampling was still used at Grand Central Station, so the power of the realistic sound of the horn corps here is overwhelming. I feel like I can show off the rawness that is unique to raw instruments. “Live And Let Die”, which also includes horns, along with the previous “Letting Go”, will make you feel as if you are watching Wings in 1976. I also think it's fun to hear songs like "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" in a fresh way with the addition of horns. We are looking forward to performances in which a horn section appears from the audience seats at performances in Japan. And the bonus is a fulfilling content that includes ``Confidante'' from the new album, which will definitely not be featured on stage, from the Abbey Road Studio gig video. As anyone who has already seen this video of Austin in real time in the morning in Japan will know, the image and sound quality are flawless. Even more so if you can watch the main part of the Freshen Up Tour in the highest quality professional shot video. Abbey Road Studio before the album release, Grand Central Station right after the album release, and this time in Austin, we are fully prepared to meet Paul when he comes to Japan!
