The "One on One Japan Tour" in April 2017 kicked off with a special concert at the Nippon Budokan on April 25th. This moving night was directly recorded on Blu-ray from high-quality audience footage captured by HD cameras, and is now available for the first time. Taking advantage of the large capacity of Blu-ray, the entire recording was taken from the front S-seat of the second floor southeast stand, in an environment with a good view without any obstacles, and lasted for 2 hours and 6 minutes. Stable angles and close shots of the pole at key points are also woven in, and the audio part is matrixed with a separately recorded digital audience master, allowing you to relive this night with a wide range of sound from low to high tones without any breakdown. About 30 minutes after the scheduled time, Paul appeared on stage holding his bass guitar, and in response to the cheers of 11,000 people, he opened the show with "A Hard Day's Night," a familiar song from this tour but performed here for the first time in Japan, followed by "Jet," "Drive My Car," and "Junior's Farm," a completely different start from the previous time, and the venue was already in a frenzy. After that, based on the set of the previous year's "One on One Tour," Paul himself had publicly declared that there would be a surprise number at this Budokan, and in response to that, he first said, "Next is the Beatles' first recording," and then moved on to "In Spite of All the Danger" from the Quarrymen era and "Love Me Do," a return to the origins of 55 years ago. In addition, "I Wanna Be Your Man" was introduced as "This song is the first time it has been released in Japan!", and two songs from "Sgt. Pepper's" were played, which was a timely surprise given the 50th anniversary edition. During the encore, Paul appeared holding the familiar Japanese flag, and several Sgt. Pepper's military-looking fans were invited onto the stage for a mini talk, and they joined in the dance with "Hi, Hi, Hi." This was a first for Japan, and it was a sight that only Budokan could offer. Then, from "Golden Slumbers" to "Carry That Weight" and "The End," the moving night came to an end. The distance to the stage is incomparable to that of the dome, so the beauty of the lighting and the power of the pyro are realistically reproduced, making this a memorable limited collector's edition for those who attended the event on the day, as well as those who were unable to attend. A DVD containing the same content is also included in the set. It's easy to watch even if you don't have a Blu-ray player, so it's useful to have one as a spare. (Blu-ray & DVD : Same Set) 01.
