A very popular series! The strongest supplementary disc of the very popular "Ram" has arrived! The concept is easy to understand if you think of the main album on disc 1, the mono album on disc 2, and the thrilling ton on disc 3. In addition, it contains rare sound sources. Notable tracks are the mono version of Another Day / Oh Woman, Oh Why and the Brung To Ewe By record. The former was carefully digitized from a very good condition promo 7-inch and was able to keep the best sound quality. And the latter is better sound quality than the source used as the menu music for the DVD included with the official archive set! Also interesting is the stereo version of Monkberry Moon Delight mixed using 4 tracks that were available for a short time on Paul's own website in 2012. A Love For You is also included in 4 versions. It is a 3-disc set that collects everything currently available! A must-have! Album description RAM was released in 1971. It reached No. 1 in the UK for 2 weeks and No. 2 in the US. It was released with joint credits from Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney. In the previous album, McCartney played all the instruments, but in this one, many outside musicians participated. In October 1970, McCartney and Linda moved to New York. There, they started working on this album. They started auditioning outside musicians[2]. They chose session guitarists David Spinoza and Hugh McCracken[3][4] and drummer Denny Sewell, who would later become the first member of McCartney's band Wings. Recording began at the beginning of the same month at CBS Studios in New York[5]. Most of the recording was done in this studio, and from February 1971, overdubbing was done on the songs at an A&R studio in New York. Here, the orchestral performance by the New York Philharmonic was overdubbed. The following month, in March, the final overdubbing and mixing were done at Sound Recorders Studio in Los Angeles, and the recording of this album was completed. Linda sings the chorus throughout the album and duets with McCartney on several tracks. In the UK, it was number one for two consecutive weeks, and in the US, it was number two on the Billboard charts, making it a long-selling album that stayed in the top ten for 24 weeks. It was number 38 on the 1971 chart. It also reached number two on the Cash Box charts, and number 9 on the 1971 chart. It sold over one million copies in the US. Each country cut a single to suit its own taste. Later, Paul released the classic album Thrillington under his pseudonymous project Percy "Thrills" Thrillington, which is a cover album of the album with orchestral performances. Recorded at Columbia, A&R, and Sound Recording Studios. 16 October 1970 - 1 March 1971 DISC1 tk-01 : TOO MANY PEOPLE tk-02 : 3 LEGS tk-03 : RAM ON tk-04 : DEAR BOY tk-05 : UNCLE ALBERT, ADMIRAL HALSEY tk-06 : SMILE AWAY tk-07 : HEART OF THE COUNTRY tk-08 : MONKBERRY MOON DELIGHT tk-09 : EAT AT HOME tk-10 : LONG HAIRED LADY tk-11 : RAM ON tk-12 : THE BACK SEAT OF MY CAR tk-13 : A LOVE FOR YOU tk-14 : ANOTHER DAY tk-15 : OH WOMAN, OH WHY tk-16 : HEY DIDDLE [DIXON VAN WINKLE MIX] tk-17 : SUNSHINE SOMETIME [EARLIEST MIX] tk-18 : RODE ALL NIGHT tk-19 : UNCLE ALBERT JAM tk-20 : A LOVE FOR YOU [COLD CUTS] DISC2 tk-01 : TOO MANY PEOPLE tk-02 : 3 LEGS tk-03 : RAM ON tk-04 : DEAR BOY tk-05 : UNCLE ALBERT, ADMIRAL HALSEY tk-06 : SMILE AWAY tk-07 : HEART OF THE COUNTRY tk-08 : MONKBERRY MOON DELIGHT tk-09 : EAT AT HOME tk-10 : LONG HAIRED LADY tk-11 : RAM ON tk-12 : THE BACK SEAT OF MY CAR tk-13 : ANOTHER DAY tk-14 : OH WOMAN, OH WHY tk-15 : UNCLE ALBERT, ADMIRAL HALSEY [MONO 45 VERSION] tk-16 : SMILE AWAY [MONO 45 VERSION] tk-17 : A LOVE FOR YOU [JON KELLY MIX] tk-18 : UNCLE ALBERT, ADMIRAL HALSEY [45 VERSION] tk-19 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #1 tk-20 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #2 tk-21 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #3 tk-22 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #4 tk-23 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #5 tk-24 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #6 tk-25 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #7 tk-26 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #8 tk-27 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #9 tk-28 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #10 tk-29 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #11 tk-30 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #12 tk-31 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #13 tk-32 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #14 tk-33 : BRUNG TO EWE BY #15 DISC3 tk-01 : TOO MANY PEOPLE tk-02 : 3 LEGS tk-03 : RAM ON tk-04 : DEAR BOY tk-05 : UNCLE ALBERT, ADMIRAL HALSEY tk-06 : SMILE AWAY tk-07 : HEART OF THE COUNTRY tk-08 : MONKBERRY MOON DELIGHT tk-09 : EAT AT HOME tk-10 : LONG HAIRED LADY tk-11 : THE BACK SEAT OF MY CAR tk-12 : A LOVE FOR YOU [INSTRUMENTAL] tk-13 : HEY DIDDLE [INSTRUMENTAL] tk-14 : MONKBERRY MOON DELIGHT [INSTRUMENTAL] tk-15 : LONG HAIRED LADY [INSTRUMENTAL] tk-16 : THE BACK SEAT OF MY CAR [INSTRUMENTAL] tk-17 : A LOVE FOR YOU [PROMO EDIT] tk-18 : RAM ON [FULL VERSION]
