The latest performance from Paul McCartney's 2025 "GOT BACK" tour, which began at the end of September, has been released as quickly as possible. The performance took place in Denver on October 11th. This is literally the fastest release, as it's a live performance that took place on Sunday, Japan time. The audience recording that recently appeared online offers a pleasant sense of distance and echo, resulting in a truly mild listening experience and clear sound quality. The addition of equalization for this release further brings Paul's vocals to the forefront. While many enthusiasts likely downloaded the latest performance, rather than simply releasing it, the album has been polished to an even more accessible state, leaving no stone unturned. What amazed enthusiasts worldwide about this 2025 "GOT BACK" tour was the new opening repertoire, "Help!". While Paul had previously sung it as part of a John Lennon medley in 1990, this was the first time it had been performed in its entirety, including with a band. The impact was truly enormous, and the performance was truly wonderful. This is a fantastic new repertoire that I can't help but hope to hear in Japan. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the release of "Help!" What's more, on this particular day, John's original vocals could be heard simultaneously at the beginning of the song. Whether this was due to John's voice being used as a guide vocal for the harmonies being overheard, or whether it was a production like "I've Got A Feeling," it's unclear at this point, but it sounds interesting. The following "Coming Up" has also become a sound check in recent years, but it's been a long time since he last performed it in the main live show. From there, the opening sequence, "Got To Get You Into My Life" and "Drive My Car," combined Beatles numbers from 1965-66, creating an incredibly captivating performance. Not only was the band's performance rock-solid, as this was only the fifth show of the tour, but Paul also delivered a passionate performance that was hard to believe he was over 80. From his perspective, it was as if he was still going strong. Meanwhile, the video also captures the rare moment when he pauses as he begins his regular "Band on the Run." While it's a small moment, it's a rare sight for Paul, who is known for his consistent and consistent performances. While Paul's live performances have always featured surprising openings, the choice of a new Beatles number was even more surprising. Sixty years after the song's release, I never imagined he'd ever sing it. Coors Field, Denver, CO, USA 11th October 2025 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc:1 (76:59) 1. Introduction 2. Help 3. Coming Up 4.
