“FRESHEN UP” ended 2018 in their home country. A masterpiece original recording and video series that conveys the three performances in the UK is now available. A definitive set of full live albums and complete videos that utilize the masters given to us by the recorders/photographers for all performances. It is a trilogy that will run through three UK performances with only hidden treasures unique to this series that cannot be found anywhere on the internet. This is the first installment of a luxurious series that is perfect for the start of the new year. This is a 4-disc set that includes audience recording + audience shots of “December 12, 2018 Liverpool Performance”. First of all, let’s check the overall view of the tour to see what position this British trilogy is in. ●2018, September 17th - October 12th: North America #1 (6 performances), October 31st - November 8th: Japan (4 performances), November 28th - December 6th: Europe ( 5 performances) ・December 12th-16th: UK (3 performances) ←★Here★●2019 ・March 20th-30th: South America (5 performances) ・May 23rd-July 13th: North America #2 (13 performances) This is the “FRESHEN UP” schedule announced so far. After the impressive performance in Japan, Paul toured continental Europe and returned to England in triumph. The start of the three performances in his home country was in his hometown of Liverpool. Now, let's introduce the recording and video of this work. [Disc 1-3: Full audience recording] The first thing that appears is the full live album of the first day in his hometown. This is an original recording that can only be heard in this work by a Japanese who went to England to witness the grand finale in his home country. The quality of the sound is so high that you forget how precious it is. The best part is that the core is on. The enthusiasm at the scene is also a realistic audience recording, and you can feel the slight venue acoustics in the singing voice. However, the core that runs through the middle is thick and thick. It's a type of music that feels very responsive and close to your eyes, and even the faint sound rises like an aura from the core, so you don't get a sense of distance. The guitar's vibe is clear, and the bass, which tends to be a weak point in audience recordings, is not too sparse or cracking. The horn is also felt close, and every word of Paul's lyrics and one shout of "Yeah!" are clear. Since the sound is of a warm type, it was not "like a soundboard" or "crystal clear", but it is a famous recording that you can fully immerse yourself in. The night in Liverpool depicted with that sound feels more like the "latest form of FRESHEN UP" than a surprise. ``Junior's Farm'', which used to be irregular in Japan, has become a standard, and they are also performing numbers that were not available in Japan, such as ``Dance Tonight'', which appeared in the European version, and ``Wonderful Christmastime'', which featured the LIPA choir. If I had to compare it to a performance in Japan, I would say "Ryogoku + Nagoya." As with Ryogoku, there will be three songs, ``All My Loving,'' ``I've Just Seen a Face,'' and ``I Saw Her Standing There,'' and ``Birthday,'' which was so moving in Nagoya, will also be performed. In particular, “I Saw Her Standing There” was the only number for Liverpool in the three UK performances. [Disc 4: Full Audience Shot] Even just such a full recording is the best, but this work also includes a full video DVDR. This is also an original video made by a Japanese who went to England, and it is of excellent quality. The view looking down diagonally from the stand seats on the left side of the stage is nothing short of spectacular. Not only was there no shadow from the front seats, but even the audience on the first floor could barely enter, leaving only the stage and poles to occupy the view. Moreover, the bold zoom is overwhelming. If you pull back as hard as you can, you can see the screen image and the entire stage, but if you zoom in close, the screen will be filled with Paul's waist up. What's more, even when you get that close, there's no camera shake or movement that makes you lose your perspective, and the image quality remains beautiful. You can simply immerse yourself in the spectacular scenery and the beauty of the images. What's great is that even though the camera work is so advanced, it doesn't show off. It would be a masterpiece if you just showed off your zoom skills, but you might get stuck in a rut if you just close up the pole. Depending on the song, pulls are often used, and there is a rich sense of scale and variety that is worth watching, and such zooms and movements are slow and smooth without rushing. You can see not only the power of the latest equipment, but also the skills of extremely skilled photographers. All we know is that he is a Japanese who went to England, but this footage is on a different level from the fan footage of Issuke that is floating around the internet. Moreover, the sound is also good. Although it is different from Discs 1-3, the sound quality is so high that it is difficult to compare. Although it is not as good as Discs 1-3 in terms of the direct feel and closeness of the core, the clarity of the atmosphere is actually superior to the DVD audio. Combined with the latest digital image quality, you can experience your hometown show in sparkling quality. Paul ended 2018 in his home country of England. This is the first installment of the complete series, and is a masterpiece that focuses on his hometown of Liverpool.
