``BACK IN THE U.S.'' is a masterpiece of a concert film that records the full-fledged tour ``DRIVING USA TOUR 2002,'' which was held for the first time in nine years. The special version has been decided to be released. This movie needs no introduction. This photo was taken at the beginning of his first world tour since 1993's "THE NEW WORLD TOUR," and his then-fiancée Heather Mills also appeared. This is a masterpiece where you can fully enjoy the early 21st century pole. In addition to the live album, a video version has also been officially released, but this work is not a copy of such official products. This is the Japan Broadcasting version that was released as a New Year's special program on January 1, 2003, about two months after the DVD release. We have archived a number of masterpiece programs with the best masters by core record enthusiasts, and this work is one of them. The visual beauty that makes full use of the high-end equipment and environment at the time of broadcast is the highest in any era, and this work is no exception. You can enjoy it in the highest quality comparable to the official version. Of course, quality alone is meaningless as long as an official version actually exists, no matter how official it is. It is important to have a different version feel with different production and arrangement from the official DVD. The program's unique Japanese subtitles throughout the film are refreshing, but what's more important than that is the composition itself. Most of our program archives are programs without commercials such as satellite broadcasts and cable TV, but this work is different. It is a terrestrial broadcast that includes a lot of commercials. For that reason, it has undergone some very exciting original editing and has been squeezed into a two-hour time slot with commercials included. When I write it like this, it may seem like a cut and dry version, but that's not the case. It is true that two songs “We Can Work It Out” and “Getting Better” were cut, but they were not simply deleted, but the order of the songs was also changed. It has been restructured to flow naturally as a program. The main point is, of course, the commercial. There are 10 commercials in a two-hour time slot, but the documentary scene is arranged to come after each commercial, and instead of suddenly returning to the show with a performance, it is "CM → Episodes of Paul and the audience → It's easy to include "famous songs related to that." Moreover, the editing is done perfectly. It's carefully crafted because it's a ground-based event that attracts a lot of attention and has plenty of sponsors. And it may be said that the commercials, which are the cornerstone of such unique editing, are the biggest highlight of this work. 2003 may seem like a recent year, but if you think about it, it was 17 years ago. So much time has passed that a baby born at that time is studying for entrance exams. Moreover, this work is a New Year's special program. The commercial has a sense of the times and a seasonal festival mood, giving it an indescribable flavor. For example, home appliances. Subtle devices such as the ``Net MD Walkman'' are still in use, and commercials for cameras are frequently aired, perhaps aiming to drum up demand for New Year's commemorative photos. This is also touted as a new feature, such as a ``3x zoom digital camera'' and ``2 million pixels in your hand.'' What's more, cameras are also linked to cell phone culture (of course, cell phones), with copy sayings like ``You can't get the message across unless you send a photo email'' and new free plans for receiving emails. Speaking of communications, the internet environment is a world away, and switching to ADSL and optical fiber are being actively promoted. ``Broadband living'' has become a keyword for both condominiums and office supplies. One thing that surprised me when I suddenly heard the words "Download music!" Hey, what are you recommending on terrestrial TV? But it turns out that this is actually a commercial for a ringtone site. Moreover, the person who appears in the commercial is that person from "Korinboshi". Now that we know her current mama-tare appearance, such as being asked to do sexy poses in a swimsuit, it is truly an alien sight. And when it comes to New Year's, it's always about movies. 2003 has a great lineup, and my favorite is ``Gangs of New York,'' starring DiCaprio, and ``5 years since Titanic!'' sticks in my heart. "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" is only the second Harry Potter movie, and both Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson still look like children. Speaking of young people, Tom Cruise in ``Minority Report'' and Harrison Ford in ``K-19'' also look youthful to today's eyes. It may be nostalgic for those who also like anime such as ``Peter Pan 2: The Secret of Neverland'' and ``Inuyasha.'' Of course, it's not just about movies; Ilhan Mansuz is still a soccer player, Avril Lavigne is in the middle of selling right after her debut, and Tama-chan the seal also appears. When I saw a commercial for a cold medicine that made me cough in a narrow elevator, I couldn't help but think, "Wow, that's so dense!"... It just keeps tickling my heart. This is ``BACK IN THE U.S.'', which has been uniquely edited because it is a ground-based program that includes commercials. It's not just a simple cut, but the carefully finished work that takes the content into consideration is wonderful, and the commercials also touch your heart. Of course, the main character is the wonderful “DRIVING USA TOUR 2002” show itself, but the “scent of that era” tickles your nostrils precisely because it alternates with commercials.
