It was digitally transferred directly from the master cassette recorded by "Two of Us," a group that produced many high-quality recordings between 1983 and 2002. The recording offers excellent balance of vocals and each part, with a wide range and depth that is considered top-notch for the time. This live performance, titled "A Song or 2 from Each Record," featured the band's longtime lineup, including Lenny Kaye and Oliver Ray on guitars, Jay Dee Doty on drums, and Tony Shanahan on bass. The set list included only "Last Call," the final track from their then-new album "Peace and Noise," as well as "Beneath the Southern Cross" and "Wing" from their previous album "Gone Again," a cover of The Byrds' "So You Want to Be (A Rock 'N' Roll Star)" from "Wave," and an early number like "Kimberly."
