It's a great way to further develop the Grammy-winning guitar trio work ``Question and Answer,'' which Pat completed in just one day at New York's Power Station Studio with Dave and Roy during his heyday. No live! First appearance of course! ! From the 1990 American tour that Pat Metheny conducted after releasing the masterpiece ``Questions & Answers,'' recorded and completed in just one day at New York's Power Station Studio with Dave Holland and Roy Haynes. The performance, which will be performed for the first time at Maryland Hall in Anna Arundel, Maryland on October 7th, lasts for over an hour and a half and has been carefully mastered by the label, giving you the illusion that you are listening to it on the spot. A 2-disc set completely recorded with ultra-high quality sound has arrived! "Low Years" and "Question & Answer", which are also included in the studio version, feature a storm of excellent improvisation that makes full use of Metheny's outstanding technique, which is a hundred times more powerful than the performance on the studio version, and the earth. Holland, who is a thick and strong model of jazz bass, and Haynes, who is always challenging and full of bloodlust, are stirring, and the serious battle in which the three parties clash is a free-spirited performance that can only be expected from the minimum number of people required for a normal performance, which is three people. It's a true and spectacular thing! Other numbers include Pat Metheny Group originals such as "Turn Around," "How Insensitive," "Farmer's Trust," and "The Calling," which cannot be heard on the studio version, as well as songs by Metheny's beloved Ornette Coleman. From the songs to the melancholy masterpiece ``Vera Cruz'' written by the great Brazilian musician Milton Nascimento, for whom Metheny is passionate, the trio carefully brought life to the songs as if they were once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, and the three of them enjoyed themselves to their heart's content. They are putting on a passionate performance using all their abilities! Live at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts,Annapolis,Anne Arundel,MD October.07.1990 AUD Recording VG 97 min Disc 1 1.
