On July 22nd, 1982, the band performed at the Sooner Theatre in Norman, Oklahoma, on a one-year US tour. Both the first and second shows were recorded for official use but were never released. This four-disc set has been released from an open reel master owned by an overseas enthusiast, and features the entire 1982 tour in super-A-class quality that far surpasses the previous work released 20 years ago. This live performance was previously said to be a radio broadcast recording, but according to the unearthed materials, it was actually a live performance recorded for official use. From that tour, 32 performances were officially recorded, and the live album "Travels", which was recorded from four live venues, was officially released and won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Fusion Performance, but not a single song from the Sooner Theatre performance in Oklahoma was recorded. Compared to albums that simply record live performances from various locations without any sense of unity at the live performance, this work allows you to experience the first and second shows from the opening to the end, uncut, and the feeling of exhilaration after listening is incomparable. This time, with the secret sound source of overseas enthusiasts, we can confidently say that it is the best quality that no one would complain about even if it was put on the shelves of a major CD shop and listened to as it is. According to the data that has been conveyed, the second generation sound source copied from the master tape has almost no noise due to deterioration, and there is no problem with the stereo separation that was a concern with the old title this time.
