The show opened with the duo of Pat and Nils, ``My Funny Valentine'' and ``Picasso,'' and the trio joined Marcus Strickland for the third song, ``When We Were Free.'' In the following "Don't Go To Stranger", Bobo Stenson appears instead of Marcus. And the wonder of “African Skies” where Marcus joins again and plays. The highlight of the day was the appearance of new century soul legend Raul Midon, who performed ``Don't Let Me Be Lonely,'' and the voltage at the venue reached its climax.
