Here is a dream collaborative video of Pat Metheny and Brad Mehldau, the number one young pianist who is hailed as the "Piano Bard", two major artists representing the contemporary jazz scene! From the Euro tour that started in June 2007, the live performance in San Sebastián, Spain on July 28th was recorded uncut for 2 hours with official quality and professional shots broadcast on local Spanish TV. Their first collaborative album, ``Metheny Mehldau,'' released in 2006, received great acclaim as the biggest project in the jazz scene, received great acclaim from all quarters, and met the expectations of jazz fans around the world. In this tour to support their long-awaited second collaborative album, ``Quartet'', they performed breathtakingly wonderful performances, focusing on numbers from these two albums. In addition, for support, we have the truly strongest "quartet" of Larry Grenadier (bass) and Jeff Ballard (drums). It's a must-see for fans as it's a live performance ahead of their Japan tour in two months!
