OZZY OSBOURNE BAND of the Carmine Appice era, known by enthusiasts as the "strongest of all time." The release of their iconic pro shot has been decided. Although the Carmine era did not leave any official works, there are super-excellent pro shots that could be called "semi-official." That is this work. It is a multi-camera pro shot of the "1983 Dortmund performance" broadcast as part of the West German specialty event "ROCKPOP IN CONCERT" series. This event was a festival held from 1978 to 1989 on the premise of being broadcast on ZDF (Second German Television), and was held in May, July, and December 1983. Of these, December was a heavy metal festival, and JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, DEF LEPPARD, SCORPIONS, MSG, QUIET RIOT, KROKUS, and other amazing heroes who could not stop drooling appeared in full force. And coincidentally (?) Ozzy's band participated in it when Carmine was still in the band. The Carmine era was also the beginning of Jake's era. For those who are just starting out, let's review the activities surrounding "Howl at the Moon" and the representative works of each era. 1983 《Jake joins》・January 12-30: Europe #1 (13 shows)《Bridgewater replaces Ailey》・February 11-April 5: North America #1 (34 shows)《Costa replaces Daisley》・May 29: US FESTIVAL←※THE COMPLETE SOUNDBOARD《Aldrich replaces Apis/November 15th "Howl at the Moon" released》*November 10-December 22: Europe #2 (32 shows)←★Here★ 1984*January 10-February 20: North America #2 (31 shows)←※BETHLEHEM 1984《Apis replaces Aldrich》・March 3-June 10: North America #3 (61 shows)←※Official video ・June 28-July 7: Japan (8 shows)←※ULTIMATE BARKS: TOKYO 1984 August 4: Puerto Rico August 18-September 2: Europe #3 (5 shows) 1985 January 16+19: ROCK IN RIO (2 shows) ← *Pro shots《Aldrich/Daisley/Ailey left》 *Note: The * marks are the dates during the Carmine era. This is the complete picture of activities related to “Howling at the Moon” from Jake’s joining. The album was produced with Tommy Aldrich, but the tour started after he was replaced by Carmine. He returned to Tommy after completing the early “Europe #2” and “North America #2”. The appearance of “ROCKPOP IN CONCERT” in this work was at “Europe #2”. The masterpiece album “CRY WOLF: STOCKHOLM 1983” is also left from the same leg, but this work is about 10 shows before that. In other words, it can be said to be the video version of that great masterpiece. This show is famous for the fact that TV broadcast pro shots were left behind, and a digest broadcast of six songs (plus drum solo). This work is the highest peak master, and is literally completely official. It is an "official substitute" for Ozzy in the Carmine era, who has no official work. It is a great feeling to be able to witness the Carmine era with such superb visual beauty. Although it is unfortunate that there are few songs, it is nice that even the drum solo is firmly suppressed. And those vivid fills! It is delicious to have a singing side dish that would be an insult if it was simply described as "powerful" or "technical". If you say it, the appearance of the "strongest five" really playing together is also powerful in itself. Each person projected by multi-camera is a master, and the scene with zero extra filling personnel is truly a super band. You can enjoy the stage shining with aura with dazzling superb pro shots. Ozzy Osbourne in the Carmine era, who was unable to leave an official work while putting on the strongest show. If you want to experience the full show, the masterpiece "CRY WOLF: STOCKHOLM 1983" is recommended, but this work is the only multi-camera pro shot that allows you to witness the brave figure. It is truly an "official substitute". The only pro shot released during the Jake E. Lee & Carmine Appice era. Although it was about 30 minutes long, you can witness the strongest lineup of all time with completely official quality on the TV broadcast when they appeared at ROCKPOP FESTIVAL.
