From his 1970 debut single "Black Sabbath" to "Gods of Rock n' Roll," released five months before his death, this comprehensive collection of music videos from the life of the dark king, Ozzy Osbourne, is here! This massive collection, more than double the volume of the official "MEMOIRS OF A MADMAN," is set to be released on four discs! This album features 61 music videos. It's a pro-shot compilation of clips from Ozzy's entire career. When you think of Ozzy's music videos, the official DVD "MEMOIRS OF A MADMAN" comes to mind, but that only contained 28 tracks. This ultimate collection encompasses all of those tracks, more than double the amount. This four-disc set features each disc as a chapter in Ozzy's history. While adhering to a chronological order, it's designed to be enjoyable for fans of each era. Let's take a look at each one individually. Disc 1: Chapter 1: "Sabbath Debut/Randy & Jake Era" Disc 1 features 16 tracks spanning the period from 1970 through 1987, from his 1970 debut to his solo career and the Jake E. Lee era. While the music industry saw the peak of music videos with the launch of MTV in 1981, Ozzy Osbourne only produced nine music videos by 1987. Since the early Black Sabbath and Randy Rhoads eras, which were crucial to the King's career, are missing, this release complements them with live studio footage from "Beat-Club" and "After Hours," which are also officially used as music videos. While many of the footage is familiar from the most lucrative period of Ozzy Osbourne's career, a panoramic view of the existing best masters is spectacular. Among these, "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" is surprisingly rare. The official video, "STORY VOLUME 1," is well-known, but it was re-edited and the audio and video were out of sync. This release, unlike the original, features the recently released original version. It also features P.G.'s slow-motion shot, which wasn't included in the official video. Another highlight is "Shot in the Dark." While it wasn't included on the official "MEMOIRS OF A MADMAN" album due to a feud with composer Phil Susann, this release features the ultimate version, recreated from the analog master from RockAmerica, the leading music video publisher before MTV launched. DISC 2: Chapter 2: "Meeting Zakk, Retirement Announcement, Guest Collaborations." This release features 16 tracks spanning from "NO REST FOR THE WICKED," the album in which he met his late-career partner, Zakk Wylde, to his retirement in 1993. Around this time, MTV was at its peak, and music videos were on the rise. Not only is the number of videos impressive, but the diverse and intricate visuals make this a highlight of the album. It features a full lineup of Ozzy Osbourne's best music videos from "NO REST FOR THE WICKED," "NO MORE TEARS," and "LIVE & LOUD," but it also includes the "collaboration music videos" that were a defining feature of this period. These include Lita Ford's "Close My Eyes Forever," which reached No. 8 on the US charts, the highest album of Ozzy Osbourne's career, "Hey Stoopid" with Alice Cooper, who both became known as the "Prince of Darkness," and "I Ain't No Nice Guy," a collaboration with Lemmy that produced a string of signature songs. This album offers a glimpse into the diverse career of Ozzy Osbourne that cannot be captured by his solo albums alone. Particularly rare is Bill Ward's "Bombers (Can Open Bomb Bays)," his first solo album with his partner Zach. Ozzy participated in "WARD ONE" and even appeared in its music video. (Incidentally, Ozzy also participated in WAS (NOT WAS)'s "Shake Your Head" during this period, but he only sang the chorus and did not appear in the music video, so it is not included on this album.) DISC 3: Chapter 3 "Return of the King (Return of the King)" Disc 3, the middle part of the album, contains 14 tracks from his return to active duty. In terms of studio albums, it spans the period from 1995's "OZZMOSIS" to 2010's "SCREAM." While most of the music videos from this period are covered on the official "MEMOIRS OF A MADMAN" album, it's still not complete. This album also includes "Shock the Monkey," a collaboration with Coal Chamber, and a cover of John Lennon's "How?", the latter of which is an official cover not even included on the covers album "UNDER COVER." Disc 4: Chapter 4: "The Final Years of Sabbath" The final disc, Disc 4, covers the band's third reunion, from the "13" era to their final single, "Gods of Rock N Roll," released in 2025, the year of their death. This section was not included on the official DVD, "Memory of a Madman." While the album focuses on classic tracks from "13," "Ordinary Man," and "Patient Number 9," it also offers more. It also includes a live clip of "Paranoid," announcing Sabbath's reunion, an animated music video for "Crazy Train," and a music video for "Hellraiser," featuring the late Lemmy. Unlike the "No More Tears" version, "Hellraiser" features a new duet between Ozzy and Lemmy, and the animated music video showcases the two legends wreaking havoc in a sci-fi world. Finally, "Crack Cocaine" and "Gods of Rock N Roll" round out this epic four-disc set. Originally released as a Billy Morrison song, the spectacular collaboration between Ozzy Osbourne and Steve Stevens also garnered attention. "Gods of Rock N Roll" in particular was a brand new song, released just five months before Ozzy's death on February 17, 2025. The orchestral accompaniment creates a truly moving atmosphere, and the King's final song was "Gods of Rock 'n' Roll"... Ozzy, aren't you looking too cool? From the Birmingham bells of "Black Sabbath" to the deeply moving "Gods of Rock n' Roll," this is a 4-disc collection of 61 music videos spanning 4 hours and 44 minutes, celebrating the King's glorious 55-year career. It goes far beyond the official music video collection, celebrating his glorious 55-year career. From his debut song "Black Sabbath" to "Gods of Rock n' Roll," released just five months before his death, this four-disc set features everything from his debut track "Black Sabbath" to his new song "Gods of Rock n' Roll," released just five months before his death. This comprehensive 4-disc set celebrates Ozzy Osbourne's glorious life, spanning 61 songs and 4 hours and 44 minutes. Featuring Sabbath and guest appearances, the album boasts more than twice the number of tracks on the official "MEMOIRS OF A MADMAN" album, all compiled from the best existing masters.
