The only legendary recording left in history is "Randy of Europe." The upgraded master is a new discovery. This work is engraved with the "Offenbach performance on November 9, 1981." It is the legendary audience recording. From the beginning, I was rambling on about "only one" and "Randy of Europe," but to explain its special feeling, basic knowledge of the time is essential. First, let's take a look at the position of this work from an overview of its activities. 1980 "BLIZZARD OF OZZ Tour" (B. Daisley, L. Kerslake, L. Bridgewater) September 3rd - November 8th: UK (37 shows) 1981 (R. Sarzo, T. Aldridge, L. Bridgewater) April 22nd - September 13th: North America #1 (93 shows + 1 in UK) "DIARY OF A MADMAN Tour" November 1st - December 2nd: Europe (11 shows) ←★here★ (R. Sarzo, T. Aldridge, D. Airey) December 30th + 31st: North America #2a (2 shows) 1982 January 1st - March 18th: North America #2b (45 shows) (Randy Rhoads passed away on March 19th) The only surviving German recording from the Randy era This is an overview of the Randy Rhoads era. The Offenbach performance in this work was part of the "European" leg that kicked off the "DIARY OF A MADMAN Tour." And this "Europe" is an uncharted territory. Most of the live shows during Randy's time were in North America (USA and Canada) or the UK. This "European" leg was the only one to make it to continental Europe. Moreover, this "Europe" was not entirely on the continent, and there are few recordings. Let's focus more on the dates here. Details of the "European" leg "German Tour" November 1st-8th (4 performances) * November 9th: Offenbach performance ←★This work★ November 10th-12th (3 performances) {Tour interrupted} "UK Tour" November 29th: Bristol performance * November 30th "WILD RHOADS (Cardiff)" * December 1st "WILD RHOADS (Leicester)" December 2nd: Liverpool performance ... and so on. The "European" leg began in Germany for the first time, but after eight shows, divorce issues with his ex-wife Thelma arose. Ozzy's mental state became unstable (...) and he was unable to continue the tour. These eight German shows were the only continental edition, and only one recording was made of it, the Offenbach performance. This is what I meant when I mentioned "only one" and "Randy in Europe." This new master, unearthed from a much-talked-about collection, is truly a one-of-a-kind legendary recording, and its sound is beyond precious. Long known as one of the greatest recordings from the Randy era, this is its upgraded version. Discovered from the collection of renowned collector "GManOF," this new master was released following Ozzy's death. In fact, the sound is the best it's ever been. While the tone and clarity are on par with the previous version, the new master offers a wonderfully wide range. The clumpiness of the previously released master has been eliminated, improving the natural feel. Not only is it easier to listen to, but the venue atmosphere can be experienced more realistically. The live performance, with its upgraded sound, was also extremely unique. From the get-go, it was bizarre. This "European" leg was an opening act for SAXON (!), so instead of the usual "Carmina Burana," they started with Lortie's band introduction. Furthermore, "Over the Mountain" was introduced as the third track, an awkward position, and "Revelation (Mother Earth)" ended without "Steal Away (The Night)" following it. Scenes completely different from other shows occurred one after another. And the performance that punctuated the bizarre set was also extraordinary. The band as a whole seemed eager to embark on their new "DIARY OF A MADMAN Tour," but Ozzy was even more excited. He delivered a powerful performance with unrelenting energy and intensity, hitting tracks like "Over the Mountain," "Mr. Crowley," and "Believer" (perhaps he was upset about his divorce). Featuring the only German recording, a wide, upgraded sound, an unusual set, and Ozzy Osbourne's intense singing... this is an extraordinary live album in every respect. Even in the precious Randy era, nothing compares to this release in terms of specialness. A truly one-of-a-kind, historic live album. A legendary audience recording of the "November 9, 1981 Offenbach concert." This is the only German recording from the Randy era, unearthed in the much-talked-about GManOF collection, and a deliciously wide-ranging upgraded master. The live content is also completely different from other performances, with an opening that doesn't use "Carmina Burana," a strangely positioned "Over the Mountain," and "Revelation (Mother Earth)" not following "Steal Away (The Night)." This is one of the most unique live albums from the Randy era. Stadthalle, Offenbach, Germany 9th November 1981 PERFECT SOUND UPGRADE!!! (39:40) 1.
