Even in the history of the Ozzy Osbourne band, which was filled with star players, the Carmine Appice era was hailed as the "strongest." This legendary live album, allowing you to experience the full show, has been reissued. This work permanently preserves the "January 17, 1984 Bethlehem Performance." This is a superb audience recording. Some may be wondering, "Ozzy and Carmine Appice?" Carmine was only a member of the Ozzy Osbourne band for a short time and did not release any official recordings. Still, their performances are so incredible that collectors have called them "the greatest band of all time." This powerful lineup included Ozzy Osbourne and Carmine, as well as Jake E. Lee, Don Airey, and Bob Daisley. What kind of era was it when these five incredible members came together? Let's start by taking a bird's-eye view of their activities at the time. 1983 《Jake joins》・January 12th-30th: Europe #1 (13 shows)《Bridgewater replaces Ailey》・February 11th-April 5th: North America #1 (34 shows)《Costa replaces Daisley》・May 29th: US FESTIVAL ←※THE COMPLETE SOUNDBOARD《Aldrich replaces Apis》*November 10th-December 22nd: Europe #2 (32 shows)←※STOCKHOLM 1983 and others 1984*January 10th-February 20th: North America #2 (31 shows)←★COCO★《Apis replaces Aldrich》・March 3rd-June 10th: North America #3 (61 shows)←※Official video・June 28th-July 7th: Japan (8 shows)←※ULTIMATE BARKS: TOKYO August 4, 1984: Puerto Rico; August 18-September 2: Europe #3 (5 shows); January 16-19, 1985: Rock in Rio (2 shows) ← *Pro Shots (Aldrich/Daisley/Ailey left) *Note: * indicates dates from the Carmine era. This is a powerful, ultra-thick recording worthy of permanent preservation. This is the overall picture of the tour surrounding "Howl at the Moon" from Jake's joining. Tommy Aldridge played drums on the album, but was replaced by Carmine just before its release. He participated in the music video shoot and "Europe #2 + North America #2," but then Aldridge returned. Although this was a short-lived lineup lasting just under four months, the live performances were unparalleled. Carmine's drumming is not simply powerful; it's more vocal, versatile, and colorful than anyone else's. Of course, Bob's vocal lines and Don's splendid keyboards are a given, but Jake's guitar is also the most eloquent of all time. Beyond the rarity of a band that left no official releases and a super band full of celebrities, their "powerful performance" has captured the hearts of enthusiasts, leading to the unearthing of numerous audience recordings. Among them, the two most prominent are the masterpiece "CRY WOLF: STOCKHOLM 1983" and this album. While these two albums are known for their purely sonic quality, the live performance period is also key. "CRY WOLF: STOCKHOLM 1983" is the pinnacle of the "Europe #2" series, while this album is the masterpiece of the "North America #2" series. The sound is truly "powerful." It was digitized directly from the original master, but what's most impressive is the tight, extremely thick core. The ebullient atmosphere of the venue, signaled by Carmina Burana, is hard to mistake for a soundboard, but the intense, on-the-fly sound that instantly subdues the enthusiasm and slams right into your face is easily mistaken. While "CRY WOLF: STOCKHOLM 1983" is hard to beat for its clean, beautiful sound, this album's unrivaled strength and directness are unmatched. This is the pinnacle of their "North America #2" masterpiece, and the fact that it's "North America #2's masterpiece" is incredibly important. In fact, the majority of recordings from the Carmine era are "Europe #2," while "North America #2" is extremely rare. On the other hand, the live performances on "North America #2" are generally better. This isn't a matter of individual fluency, but rather a difference in proficiency. Carmine demonstrated richer, more unique drumming than anyone else in their careers since joining the band, and listening to various recordings reveals that his work continued to evolve. By completing "Europe #2," the songs became a part of his life, and he further refined them during rehearsals over the New Year holidays. 1984's "North America #2" featured more original phrases and a stronger, more distinctive style. "Carmine's Ozzy Song" was complete. For example, "Crazy Train" features a beat evocative of a train, "Revelation (Mother Earth)" is a full-length drum solo, and the following "Steal Away The Night" is almost reminiscent of Ian Paice on "Burn." It's not just the sheer number of moves; his drumming is in tune with the song's atmosphere...no, the percussion is at full throttle. The incredible talents of Jake E. Lee and Don Airey go unmentioned, but even the rhythm section was melodic during this period. Bob Daisley danced with the diverse lines of a main composer, and Carmine danced wildly with fills that even conveyed his sense of song. Everyone seemed to be going wild and wild, but the coherence of the classical music never diminished. These five are truly miraculous. They are an incredible ensemble, worthy of being called "the strongest." This legendary masterpiece allows you to experience the full, powerful performance of the "strongest" show, which never left an official work. Here's a magnificent reprint! This is a legendary audience recording of the "Bethlehem Performance on January 17, 1984." This masterpiece from the Carmine Appice era, known as "the strongest," features a sound that is extremely thick, created by the original master. The powerful, direct feel is soundboard-grade. The timing was fantastic, as Carmine's skills had improved in 1984, and you can experience a miraculous full show with all the star players.
