The anomalous live album "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" is known for being "all Sabbath songs". The original soundboard album is the final evolution of "GRAF ZEPPELIN" and will be permanently preserved. This work is engraved with the "September 26th + 27th, 1982 New York City performance". It is a superb stereo soundboard recording. This work is the original master of the official work "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL", but the show itself was completely different between the video work of the same name and the live album. In order to confirm this point, let's hold the position in the schedule at that time here.・January 1st - March 18th: North America #1 (44 shows) {Randy passed away on March 19th, Bernie Torme joined} ・April 1st - 10th: North America #2a (7 shows) {Torme left, Brad Gillis joined} ・April 13th - June 28th: North America #2b (51 shows) ← ※Video version of SOTD ・July 9th - 15th: Japan (5 shows) ・August 1st - 8th: North America #3 (3 shows) {Don Airey left} ・September 26th + 27th: North America #4 (2 shows) ← ★This work★ {Pete Way / Lindsay Bridgewater joined} ・December 10th - 20th: UK (7 shows) {Brad & Pete left, Jake & Don Costa joined} [The latest release polished with GRAF ZEPPELIN's perverse precision] This is Ozzy Osbourne in 1982. Up to "North America #3" is the "DIARY OF A MADMAN Tour" where solo numbers are also performed, and the video version of "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" is a record of that. On the other hand, the live album version of "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" is a special performance of "All Songs Sabbath" even though it has the same name, and was produced from two performances of "North America #4". This work is the original stereo sound board that completely recorded the two performances. The official version is famous for being full of corrections of Ozzy's vocals being replaced, but this work is different. It is the original uncensored source, and it is a leaked sound source that allows you to enjoy the "true SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" in two full performances. This complete sound board was unearthed in 2013. Not only the original version, but also the remastered version became a popular work that was quickly discontinued and sold out. This work is the final evolution of such a super masterpiece, polished with the latest technology of 2022 and the careful mastering of "GRAF ZEPPELIN". Graf Zeppelin's mastering has been a big hit with progressive rock artists like PINK FLOYD and GENESIS, but recently it has also expanded into hard rock/hard rock. It's still fresh in our memory that Sabbath's "The Manor Tape 1983" and "Captured Live 1983" became a big hit. The pitch correction is perfect even for random changes, and even 1/1000th of a second of phase shift is not overlooked. The balance adjustment by frequency band analysis and the carpet bombing of noise by the waveform and ears are also extremely accurate. Ozzy's masterpiece has been polished up with a precision that can even be called "paranoid". However, this time it has not yet reached the point of being "completely different". The reason for this is that the original was too good. This time, it was polished up by going back to the original master, but it is closer to the previous "REMASTERED EDITION". As expected, the difference from the original "RITZ 1982 COMPLETE" is clear, and if you look at the waveform, it is also different from the previous "REMASTERED EDITION", but you may need a certain playback environment to listen and feel the improvement. And this is also the meaning of the "final evolution" that I introduced at the beginning. It is proof that it has reached a height where "it cannot be improved any more" even if a different engineer approaches it with different equipment and different approaches. [Another SPOTD / True SOTD] DISC 1 (First Day): Another SPEAK OF THE DEVIL Such an ultimate sound depicts "Another SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" and "True SPEAK OF THE DEVIL". As mentioned above, this work contains two full performances, but "First Day (DISC 1)" is a live performance that was not adopted for the official version. It is "Another SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" where neither the performance nor the vocals can be heard officially. It was probably not adopted because of a mistake in the performance. As expected, the ensemble does not collapse because of the virtuoso players, but the performance is scary because it is the first day full of unfamiliar songs, and mistakes occur frequently in small details. Rather, it is a live performance that makes you wonder, "Are they going to improve that much the next day?" That said, it is not a completely useless stage. In fact, Ozzy's vocals are in better condition on the first day. Of course, it is not as well-balanced as the official version that was replaced, but that is why the live feeling is exquisite, and there is no unnaturalness of the voice quality changing all the time like the official version. You can enjoy "The Wizard", which was not performed in the 70s, "Never Say Die", which was not performed in the reorganized Sabbath, and "Symptom Of The Universe" with singing with 100% live performance. DISC 2 (Day 2): True SPEAK OF THE DEVIL Instead, "Day 2 (DISC 2)" is the full sound board that was the source of the official work. Sharon Osbourne had been pressuring the members, saying, "Even if they fail, they can't synthesize," but the highly polished take was on the second day. However, the vocals are completely different (bitter smile). From the official version, the MC and shouts, which are a little dry, and the glossy main vocals are so different that it has been said for many years that "they must have been replaced," and as expected. However, the severity of the original vocals was unexpected. When the leaked master appeared, he was speechless, saying, "I can't believe it's this far...", but you can enjoy the bold and rough original voice with the highest quality. Another thing is that the performance is actually partially different from the official version. Rather than replacing each instrument, it's a replacement of songs. According to producer Max Norman, "We used the take from the sound check (the sound source was not out in the afternoon of the 26th) for three songs," but it seems that songs with big mistakes in the performance, such as "Iron Man," have been replaced. An even bigger difference is "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath." This work is a complete recording of two days, but this super masterpiece was not played on either. The rehearsal take that Norman mentioned was adopted for the official version. "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" is an unusual live album in Ozzy's history that is "all Sabbath". Ozzy himself did not like it because it was produced to resolve contract issues, and it has often been excluded from reissue projects. This work is a soundboard album that conveys the "real life" of such an unusual masterpiece. A two-disc set in which "GRAF ZEPPELIN" polished the underground masterpiece and permanently preserved it with "the ultimate sound". Stereo soundboard recording of "September 26 + 27, 1982 New York City performance". This is the original master of the official live album "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" known as "all Sabbath", and is the highest peak update version polished by "GRAF ZEPPELIN". The second day (DISC 2) is an uncensored version of the officially adopted live performance, and the first day (DISC 1) is a full show that is completely different from the official one ("Sabbath Bloody Sabbath", which is not included in this work, was not a live performance, but a rehearsal on the same day). This is the apex of the legendary work that allows you to enjoy the strange stage completely uncensored.
