"THE ULTIMATE SIN", which Ozzy released in 1986, is now talked about with a somewhat negative impression as "a work that Ozzy hates". However, the content that pursued the L.A. metal route that was popular at the time to the highest level brought Ozzy more success than the Randy Rhoads era. Furthermore, the fact that Jake E. Lee fully unleashed his talent made both the work and the live performance special. One of the most famous live shows in 1986 was "Monsters of Rock" on August 16th in the UK, and "Kemper Arena" in Kansas City, Missouri on April 1st in the United States. In particular, the latter has been released as an official video work, and it will be a familiar live performance for enthusiasts. However, this official video did not purely feature performances and shows, and the highlights of the setlist, such as "Shot In The Dark" and "The Ultimate Sin", were replaced with video clips, and there are pros and cons. It was a controversial work. For that reason, enthusiasts even say, ``If you want to enjoy this live performance, it is better to listen to the radio source.'' In this work, the radio broadcast source is recorded for over 70 minutes from the broadcast master of the music program "King Biscuit Flower Hour". This sound source was once released as Disc 2 of “AGE OF SIN”. However, this time, it appears as the latest remastered version that further refines the original sound source. The sound is clearer and crisper than the previous ones, yet has a calming quality, and is of excellent quality. We will let you enjoy a special live performance with a high level of perfection! From the opening song "Carl Orff "Carmina Burana", which features the band introduction, a wonderful sound that surpasses the official one explodes! As for the sound board sound source of the 1986 live performance, I enjoyed the aforementioned "Monsters of Rock" in August, which had a great sound, but I can say that this one is clearly superior in terms of punch and realism. Furthermore, the early parts of the live performance "Bark At The Moon" and "Suicide Solution", which were missing in that version, can be enjoyed perfectly in this work. Everyone will be overwhelmed by Jake's flashy and glittering guitar playing, especially on "Bark At The Moon"! The appeal of this work is that you can enjoy the “THE ULITAME SIN” number, which had many songs only on this tour, with a perfect stereo line source. The smash hit "Shot In The Dark", which appears in the third song "Never Know Why", is the best entertainment that vividly reflects the times! Songs from the Randy Rhoads era, such as "Mr. Crowley" and "I Don't Know," are alternately arranged with these songs, and Jake's original and tricky playing will make this one-of-a-kind outfit enjoyable. . The middle part of the live, “Killer Of Giants” and “Thank God For The Bomb” with Jake’s guitar solo in between, let you fully enjoy the flavor of this formation! In particular, Randy Castillo's powerful and light drumming shows off the charm of both the grandeur of "Killer Of Giants" and the catchiness of "Thank God For The Bomb." Even in the second half of "The Ultimate Sin," his playing reproduces the song with more depth than the studio take (of course, the band ensemble, such as the keyboard and bass, which was difficult to understand in the audience recording, is also clearly visible to the listener. (It appears vividly before my eyes). The climax of the live is the familiar “Iron Man”, “Crazy Train” and “Paranoid”! A number of performances that unfold with furious force will allow you to enjoy the dynamism of Ozzy live in this era in its best form! In this live, there is also an air check source of radio broadcast, but that was a shortened version of about 50 minutes. This work, where you can enjoy a complete live performance with the best sound quality, is definitely a must-listen for all Ozzy fans! In the 70 minutes of this work, "Secret Looser" including the drum solo was cut, so it is not actually a "complete recording". However, the overwhelming sound quality and highly satisfying recording content boasts an outstanding presence even in Jake's era! Live at Kemper Arena, Kansas City, MO.
