While "NO MORE TEARS" was one of Ozzy Osbourne's biggest hits, he also announced his retirement to the world in 1992. A newly discovered master recording of the event has been released. This work features the "March 5, 1992 Paris Performance." This is the ultimate audience recording. Even though it's called the "NO MORE TEARS era," there were two tours: "THEATRE OF MADNESS Tour" and "NO MORE TOURS Tour," and there were also member changes along the way. To understand the situation, let's first take a look at the activities at the time. 1991 “THEATRE OF MADNESS Tour” ・January 11th-20th: UK (4 shows) ・February 8th: Long Beach show (September 17th release of “NO MORE TEARS”) (October: John Sinclair leaves → Kevin Jones replaces) ・October 5th: Los Angeles show ・October 28th-November 5th: Japan (6 shows) ・November 12th-30th: North America #1 (13 shows) ←※UNIVERSAL CITY 1991 1992 ・January 5th-February 17th: North America #2 (26 shows) ・February 24th-March 20th: Europe (16 shows) ←★COCO★ ・March 28th-April 5th: North America #3 (4 shows) (May: Kevin Jones leaves → John Sinclair returns) “NO MORE TOURS Tour” June 9th - July 4th: North America #4 (17 shows) August 14th - November 15th: North America #5 (46 shows) ← *LIVE & LOUD: SBD MASTERS This is Ozzy Osbourne in 1991/1992. John Sinclair was replaced by Kevin Jones in the middle of the “THEATRE OF MADNESS Tour”, and Sinclair returned for the final “NO MORE TOURS Tour”. While North America was his main battlefield, the “European” tour in February/March 1992 was an exception. The Paris performance in this work was the eighth performance of that tour. This vacuum-packed work is a new masterpiece from the popular “Stephane” collection. “Stephane” is a master recording artist who has recently been attracting attention from HR/HM collectors, and has released a large number of amazing recordings from the HR/HM genre in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Our shop has received rave reviews for numerous classic recordings, including classic pressings of BLACK SABBATH and IRON MAIDEN, as well as Steve Vai-era WHITESNAKE, EUROPE, Gary Moore, SCORPIONS, Yngwie, and many others. This album is the latest in this collection of masters. Indeed, the sound is incredibly thick and clear. While not mistaken for a soundboard, the on-the-fly density is superb, penetrating the clear, crystalline atmosphere directly. The timbre is richly audience-like, yet the details are neither cloudy nor muddy. The guitar is crisp, even the tiniest harmonics, and each note of the bass and drums stands out with a thumping sizzle. The synths are also delicate, with the intro to "Mr. Crowley" so powerful you can practically feel the vibes shaking the venue floor. While there's nothing wrong with the recording itself, there appears to have been some kind of error during digitization, resulting in periodic digital noise (this is from the original audio released online; it's not a CDR burn error on our end). This delicate yet powerful sound depicts a full show in which a young Zack is playing his guitar. The set is different from "LIVE & LOUD," so let's compare and organize it. Blizzard of Ozz (5 songs): Mr. Crowley / I Don't Know / Goodbye to Romance / Suicide Solution / Crazy Train; No More Tears (3 songs): Desire / I Don't Want to Change the World / No More Tears; Other (6 songs): Other solo tracks: Bark At The Moon / Shot in the Dark / Miracle Man; Sabbath: Snowblind (★) / War Pigs / Paranoid. *Note: "★" indicates tracks not included in the official "LIVE & LOUD" release. ...And so on. The performances that punctuate this set are sharp and incredibly cool. Zakk, his lifelong companion, relies on his youthful energy to play and play and play, while the rhythm section of Mike Inez and the late Randy Castillo is also aggressively dynamic. He and Zakk continued to have a long-standing relationship, and perhaps this trio had a special connection, reuniting several times. Castillo has since passed away, but Inez returned for "BACK TO THE BEGINNING." Perhaps this was Ozzy Osbourne's best lineup. Even as he announced his retirement, Ozzy Osbourne was unleashing the band's potential in 1992. This new masterpiece allows you to fully experience that moment with masterful sound. Newly unearthed recordings from the "NO MORE TEARS" era have been released. This full-length live album, featuring a young Zakk Wylde playing and playing, is a stunning rendition of the masterful Stephane collection.
