Ozzy Osbourne has announced the "FAREWELL TOUR" to bring back his ally Zakk Wylde and put an end to his 50-year career. His last tour will start in May 2018, but his latest and "last show of 2017" will be released. He just finished Sabbath's last tour "THE END" in February this year, but this time the "FAREWELL TOUR" is a solo. In the past few years, he has been using different names such as Sabbath, OZZY & FRIENDS, and solo, so it's a bit difficult to understand. This is a good opportunity (although it will be a bit long) to organize the history of Sabbath since 2012, when they reorganized. [2012] May 19th: Sabbath (1 show) May 23rd-June 6th: OZZY & FRIENDS (8 shows) June 10th: Sabbath (1 show) June 13th-July 1st: OZZY & FRIENDS (9 shows) August 3rd: Sabbath (1 show) [2013] April 20th-December 22nd: Sabbath (13 TOUR 54 shows) [2014] March 31st-July 4th: Sabbath (13 TOUR 27 shows) August 9th: Solo #1 (1 show) [2015] April 25th-October 31st: Solo #2 (5 shows) November 22nd: OZZY & FRIENDS (1 show) [2016] January 20th-December 4th: Sabbath (THE END 72 shows) [2017] ・January 17th - February 4th: Sabbath (9 shows with THE END) {May 1st: Zakk Wylde returns} ・July 14th - November 4th: Solo #3 (8 shows) ←★Here★ *Note: Event appearances that only included a few songs have been omitted. This is the full story of the past six years. Especially since 2013, BLACK SABBATH has been the main focus, with a few OZZY & FRIENDS and solo shows sandwiched in between. OZZY & FRIENDS was a format where Gus G and Zakk welcomed guests, and solo was Gus G (Solo #1-2), but Zakk officially returned in May of this year. He held a mini tour "Solo #3" titled "OZZY AND ZAKK REUNITE FOR 2017 TOUR". This work is an audience shot of the final performance, "San Bernardino performance on November 4, 2017". This work has a wonderful view that allows you to look directly at the stage with an open field of vision. Judging from the scene at the start of the performance, it is a slightly distant shot from the left side of the stage (towards Zack), but the key point is the height. The scene is an outdoor festival, and there are no stand seats. Despite this, you can look straight at the stage from a viewpoint about three heads higher than the front customers. As expected, I don't know what is happening under the photographer's feet, but it is a magnificent field of vision that seems to have been tailored for the shoot. And what offsets the handicap of distance is the fierce zoom function of the latest digital equipment and the sound that jumps straight in. Even if Ozzy and Zack, who are only a few centimeters apart when pulled, fill the screen, the digital vivid screen is insanely beautiful. The further evolved PA roars a thick and meaty sound, and because it is outdoors, the details of the zero echo shine (only "Shot In The Dark" and "No More Tears" that were not filmed are from a different angle, but this is also excellent). The quality depicts the show of Ozzy, a solo singer who has regained his long-time partner Zach. The set is a golden greatest hits that revives "LIVE & LOUD", all of which are repertoires from before "NO MORE TEARS". He also plays "Shot In The Dark", which he once sealed away. And there are BLACK SABBATH's "Fairies Wear Boots", "War Pigs", "Iron Man", and "Paranoid" sprinkled on top. To be honest, there are no rare songs, but "Fairies Wear Boots" is nice. In fact, among all the Sabbath singers, Ozzy is the only one who has sung this song on stage. No matter what Iommi does in the future, it is a masterpiece that he probably won't do if he teams up with a singer other than Ozzy. Perhaps it is because it is one of the few "songs written by Ozzy", but it continues to be sung even after Sabbath is gone. And above all, his partner Zach has a tremendous presence. His solo songs are reminiscent of the golden age, and his playing of Sabbath songs is more respectful than anyone else's, but never falls into copying. Gas G also did a great job, but Zach's authenticity is different. Intense, heavy, smooth, and melodic. His flashy guitar, which is played selfishly and freely, somehow shows his feelings for his predecessors. This natural sense of breathing is only possible with Zach. And there is no trace of decline in his sharp riffs or harmonics. He is as wild as he was in his heyday. Zach is special after all. He can be said to be a "lifelong partner" alongside Iommi, his origin, and Randy, his savior. Many great guitarists have stood alongside Ozzy, but he is the only one who can accompany him on the "FAREWELL TOUR". This superb video will convince you of that. It will make you look forward to his Japan tour, which will be realized someday. Live at Glen Helen Amphitheater, San Bernardino, CA. USA 4th November 2017 (87:41) 1. Carmina Burana 2.
