Speaking of Ozzy's solo band, it is a stage for guitarists crowded with historical heroes. Among them, Joe Holmes, who was the second longest-tenured member of the band, never left an album. Here is a high-quality pro shot of his first and last performances! Randy Rhoads, Brad Gillis, Jake E. Lee, Zakk Wylde, Gus G... Ozzy has continued to discover the best guitarists of the time. When Ozzy retired once in 1992 and returned to active duty three years later, the guitarist he chose was Joe Holmes, "a student of Randy." After that, he served as Ozzy's right-hand man for about five years, but unfortunately he did not leave an album and disappeared into the darkness of history. All Joe officially left behind was one song, "Walk On Water," written by someone else, and a few live performances. Zach ended up recording "That I Never Had," "Junkie," and "Can You Hear Them?", which Joe himself wrote ("Dreamer" was a misprint on the Japanese version). The only way to know his achievements and abilities is to have a collector's item. This work is a DVD that captures his premiere and final performances with the best multi-camera professional shots! Strangely, his premiere date and final date were the same, "September 2nd." The premiere was on September 2nd, 1995, and was the South American version of "MONSTERS OF ROCK." This video has top-class image quality and sound quality among the many South American ones. The live starts with "Paranoid." Perhaps because it's been a long time since he last performed on such a big stage, Ozzy has some risky moments, such as making mistakes in the lyrics and melodies in some places, but the lineup, which includes Joe and Geezer Butler, puts on a strong performance. While Joe's playing is centered on his predecessor Zack, he also plays with the influence of Randy Rhoads on "Suicide Solution" and "Mr. Crowley". While bringing out Ozzy's strengths, he meets the expectations of his fans with his solid technique. The new songs "I Just Want You" and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" from "OZZMOSIS" are also great points! The latter in particular had no live recordings in the 70s, and even for "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL" (as revealed in the previous "SPEAK OF THE DEVIL: RITZ 1982 COMPLETE"), a rehearsal take was used. In other words, this day was also the premiere day of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" for Ozzy! He had changed the melody significantly in Sabbath's "REUNION", but here he boldly challenges the original line. It's 58 minutes full of highlights! And five years later, on September 2, 2000, Joe's last day. It was the final performance of "OZZFEST 2000", which had become a standard event at that time. During the past five years, members such as Randy Castillo, Mike Inez, and Mike Bordin have been replaced (and Zack returned for about three weeks), and the final lineup of Joe's time was Robert Trujillo (bass), who would later join METALLICA, and Brian Tichy (drums), who would later join WHITESNAKE. The video of the final day's image quality and sound quality are even better than the premiere day, and are truly press-level first-class. The highlight of the show is the sudden opening, with Ozzy sitting on a throne set, spinning around and appearing! The dramatic opening is a melting pot of excitement for the audience! Joe, who has built his career as Ozzy's right-hand man, plays steadily from the early "I Don't Know" and "War Pigs". Although his playing is still centered around Zack, he is now expressing his own style compared to five years ago. The heavy "Suicide Solution" and the catchy "I Don't Want To Change The World" are great highlights, with their strong rhythms. More than that, the explosive excitement of the climaxes "Crazy Train" and "Paranoid" is amazing! When you think about it, the first song on the premiere day and the last song on the last day were both "Paranoid". His life with Ozzy Band began with "Paranoid" and ended with "Paranoid". Joe left the stage of Ozzy Band on this day. After that, 13 years later, he is still silent even now at the age of 50 (this year, there was finally news of the launch of the band "FARMIKOS"). Before the Ozzy Band, he only played "VISUAL LIES" in LIZZY BORDEN. Compared to Bernie Torme and Alex Skolnick, who were only briefly in the band, the reality is that there is very little of his music. In addition to this work, there are some pro-shot videos and SBD/FM sound sources left from the Joe Holmes era. However, for those who want to see "something from the Joe era", this is the perfect work, which allows you to see the "5-year trajectory" with high-quality professional shot footage (if you watch this and send in many requests saying "I want to see more of Joe! I want to hear more of him!", we will prepare more items). This is the best work to enjoy his guitar and performance. Not only can you see the "dark history of the Ozzy Band", but you can also enjoy the guitar hero "Joe Holmes" from the age of 32 to 37, which is the most popular period of his life. Don't miss it!
