The January 19th stage, which was a highlight from 1985's "Rock in Rio" when OZZY OSBOURNE first landed in South America, will be released using an excellent multi-camera professional shot master. Even Ozzy from the Jake E. Lee era can thoroughly enjoy the big stage on par with 1986's "Monsters of Rock" with high-quality footage that can be said to be the best ever. In 1983, Ozzy welcomed Jake E. Lee as the official replacement guitarist for Randy Rhoads, and with the release of "BARK AT THE MOON" and its tour, Ozzy created a new fan base in response to the growing popularity of heavy metal around the world. The development was successful. In particular, Jake exuded a glamorous charm different from Randy, and his flashy and technical skills gave a strong impression of the birth of a new guitar hero. Ozzy and others ended their regular live "BARK AT THE MOON" tour with a performance in Japan in July 1984. After that, they performed a number of one-off shows, mainly at festivals in the summer of 1984. One of the single festival appearances that took place after the "BARK AT THE MOON" tour is notable for "Rock in Rio", which appeared in January 1985. This festival, which was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from January 11th to 20th, invited many musicians from a variety of music genres, and even included hard rock/heavy metal performers such as WHITESNAKE, AC/DC, and SCORPIONS. and IRON MAIDEN will appear. It is said to have attracted a huge audience of 300,000 people in one night. Ozzy took to the stage on two days during the festival, January 16th and 19th. This video is a live performance on the 19th that has been remastered and digitized from the local TV broadcast master. The opening song, ``Carl Orff: Carmina Burana'' resounding through the venue packed with countless people, will make you realize just how big the scale of the festival was. The first song, "I Don't Know," and the following, "Mr. Crowley," had a spectacular reaction from the audience. Ozzy, Jake, and other members of the band also put on a fulfilling performance to keep up with the enthusiasm (the audience swaying with Ozzy's excitement was a highlight). Jake's flashy guitar play is in great condition, and he has a presence that is comparable to Ozzy. The mature rhythm section of Tommy Aldridge and Bob Disley, and the keyboard of Don Airey, who returned after a temporary absence for the Japan performance, are also amazing. The performance ability of this formation can be said to be one of the best in Ozzy bands of all time. The remastered sound of this work allows you to enjoy their dynamic performance. Highlights include ``Bark At The Moon,'' which fills the venue with explosive excitement, and the medley of ``Revelation (Mother Earth)'' and ``Steal Away (The Night),'' which are the final performances. In "Suicide Solution," which takes longer in the second half, Jake and Tommy's play will also catch the attention of fans. In the second half of the live, Ozzy's representative songs and BLACK SABBATH's classics alternated! From the groovy "Flyin' High Again" to the heavy incarnation of "Iron Man," to "Crazy Train," which peaks the excitement in the venue, and to the encore of "Paranoid," the band delivered a series of passionate performances befitting the big stage. Knock out the fans! As you can see from the videos of Iron Maiden, Scorpions, etc., the 1985 Rock in Rio video has a dark screen that seems to be broadcast in South America, and the quality of the video is not the best. However, compared to past titles, this one can be declared the best one due to its clear sound quality and less hiss. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the huge festival in South America, which was the most exciting part of Ozzy's career. A 74-minute must-see video for fans is now available, including an original menu exclusive to this work! Live at Rockodrome, Rock In Rio, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil 19th January 1985 PRO-SHOT 1.
