The Budokan concert on December 1, 1976 was recorded in about 40 minutes with a multi-camera professional shot. As the opening screen title "New Year's Eve Concert: Adamo & Olivia" indicates, this was broadcast by TBS as a counter-program to the Red and White Song Battle. (As an aside, the viewership rate for the Red and White Song Battle that year was an incredible 74.6%.) This take was broadcast as the first part of that program. Naturally, it has not been made official and has not been rebroadcast, so the only way to see this precious footage at present is to watch the low-resolution footage with low pixel count uploaded to the Internet, and this board also contains footage of the same level as this net take. However, this Budokan footage of Olivia has not been made into a software, so even if it is a bonus footage with low pixel count, it will be a delight for fans. Actually, the sound recorded was excellent, and if there was a video master somewhere, I would want to digitize it directly, but it's wonderful to be able to easily watch the state of the stage on the day in a professional shot video like this. I don't think there is a female artist who is as suitable for the expression "lovely" as Olivia, who has a lovely look, singing, dancing, and communicating with the audience on this day, and you can see her aura-filled appearance on the day in a stable video without being disturbed by tracking noise. The Japanese lyrics translation and MC translation are also good and fit the video and performance. This is exactly what the saying "seeing is believing," and the moving video of Olivia dressed in a white outfit, just like the gravure of the time, is overwhelming, and once your eyes get used to it, you'll realize that the video, which is like a movie film, is quite good. Whatever it is, it is definitely a must-see and must-have title for fans. Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 1st December 1976 PRO-SHOT 1. Jolene 2. Take Me Home, Country Roads 3. Let It Shine 4.
