It is unnecessary to explain that Oasis in 1996 was a year filled with glory at the big gig called Knebworth on Main Road. The tension in Oasis centered around Liam continued to rise from around Main Road in Spring, but things started to go awry when Liam's appearance on MTV Unplugged was canceled, and the subsequent American tour was forced to end due to a sibling quarrel. As a result of this, the glorious year of Oasis came to an end with only a few months remaining. As the American tour itself was documented in “CHICAGO 1996 DAT MASTER”, Liam suddenly canceled Chicago on the first day, so it started with a full Noel vocal day. The seeds of the tour's aerial disassembly had already been sown, but it would still be outrageous to say that all the days were bad. Rather, the few days in America after Liam returned were a series of high-tension performances. This time in Philadelphia is proof of that. From the opening song, “Acquiesce,” Liam fired up his engine at full throttle…or should I say, he was sharp. She sings wherever her heart takes her. It is reliable that he sings ``Some Might Say'', which is a barrier for him on bad days, with ease. The way Liam sings this song is like a throwback to 1996, and it feels good to listen to it. Isn't that where the embers of Main Road and Knebworth are? Riding on this high level of tension, Liam was very talkative between songs. Of course, the fuel of alcohol was used for this hyper performance, but there is no way that Liam's explosive tension will not be received by Americans, and the venue is also very excited. Before starting "Listen Up", which was a rare repertoire unique to this period, Noel joins in and stirs up the audience, and they also get excited, which is also a pleasant feeling of presence. When this sharp Liam sings "Cigarettes & Alcohol," things start to get a little weird, and he asks Noel to help him along the way, but he doesn't give up completely and quickly returns to singing, which is typical of this day. However, it is a scene that gives us a glimpse of the ``unity that only brothers can have.'' I was surprised by Noel's high-tension scream when the intro started. Exactly the same scene can be seen in "It's Gettin' Better (Man!!)" with one song left behind, but it's interesting because Liam returns to singing at the perfect time without falling into a mess here. In the first place, "It's Gettin' ~" was not released at this point, but was treated as a new song before recording, and had begun to be performed at a series of outdoor mammoth gigs including Knebworth, but later recorded in "BE HERE NOW" It's played at a slightly faster tempo than the version, and I think it sounds fresh to familiar ears. Even at Noel Corner, the venue was very lively, and when Liam returned to sing ``Live Forever,'' his singing seemed to be suffering, perhaps because he had skipped too much. I even had Noel sing some of it, but it seems like on this day he ended up singing it all the way to the end. And when it comes to the finale, “I Am The Walrus,” a very unusual incident occurs. There, Noel makes a mistake in the progression of the song, and Liam makes him stop it and start over again, an unusual pattern. Even so, even in Take 2, which was reorganized, the high tension did not diminish and the performance continued to the end. The taper who recorded this high-tension night in Philadelphia in 1996 was not Crazy S. but Brian D. His audience recording is different from the image of a sound board, but it has a very powerful sound quality that thoroughly conveys the hyper performance of this day. An exquisite recording with a good sense of distance and clear sound quality. Following the highly popular "CHICAGO 1996 DAT MASTER", they performed at Philadelphia's famous venue Spectrum (at that time it was acquired by a company and was named "Core States Center") from the short-lived last American tour in 1996. Liam also returns with Oasis' Hyper Gig! CoreStates Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA, USA 2nd September 1996 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 (67:35) 1. The Swamp Song 2. Acquiesce 3. Supersonic 4. Hello 5.
