This is a must-listen! A perfect mix that exceeds the previous releases is finally complete! The definitive version of the masterpiece that represents the "BE HERE NOW" tour! Isn't there any sound source that everyone has been waiting for an upgrade to be more than the radio broadcast of the second day performance at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on October 8th during the 1997 "BE HERE NOW" tour that everyone loves? The value of the stereo soundboard recording produced from the beginning of the hugely popular tour is very high. Needless to say, the performance content is also the best. However, it is also an unfortunate stereo soundboard that did not have any good items. In the first place, the items of the main broadcast were not blessed from the beginning. All of the real-time items at that time were poor sound quality and incomplete recordings. Even the most decent Thunderball board "NYC" had a crushed and muddy sound quality and a low pitch... It was really strange even at the time why the 1997 broadcast was treated so sloppily, but even so, "NYC" is still a popular item today, coupled with the beauty of the artwork. Originally, a better sounding item was supposed to be produced, but it never came to fruition. It was thought that it would finally be renewed with the Bayswater album "NEW YORK, NEW YORK" in 2020, but it turned out to be nothing more than a copy remaster of "NYC". Although the low pitch had been resolved, the AUD compensation for the cut of the banned words that Noel deliberately uttered before the start of "D'You Know What I Mean?", which was another chronic issue, was incomplete. Furthermore, the skipping that occurred before the second chorus of "Don't Look Back In Anger" was a fake patch edit that transplanted and filled in from another part of the song (the guitar phrases are different in both the first and second verses, so the sound source itself may even have been patched from a different live performance...). And above all, the crushed and muddy sound quality of "NYC" was not improved at all. The original broadcast was mixed by Owen Morris, who was a producer directly under Oasis, and the finished product brought out the power of his guitar, but "NYC" was ruined by the sound quality, which seemed to have been crushed by air-checking it on cassette and dubbing it several times. Of course, if you watch it on current software, it will be displayed as a Nori waveform. Since the broadcast itself was not large-scale in the first place (only two stations in the United States and France), there are no so-called broadcast discs, but for this release, a different air-check sound source in much better condition than the Nori waveform "NYC" was used. Then, using the latest AI technology, it was broken down into 8 tracks of snare, toms, cymbals, bass drum, bass, guitar, vocals, and audience cheers, and first of all, each track was meticulously remastered. Furthermore, the latest Nori waveform restoration program was used to restore the dynamic range before mixing down, a thorough and miraculous feat that achieved a sound quality on a different level from "NYC" and "NEW YORK, NEW YORK". And yet there is no excessive and unrefined impersonation that would destroy the image of Owen Morris' mix. Furthermore, the broadcast prohibited cut part of the MC before "D'You Know What I Mean?", which was a major problem with the previously released version, was meticulously compensated for by AUD on the same day, faithfully and perfectly reproducing the actual MC. And the skipping of "Don't Look Back In Anger" was also restored to a faithful state by AUD on the same day. The performance on the day was also beautifully compensated for by AUD on the same day while waiting for the encore. The finish is no longer comparable to the previously released version in both sound quality and content! And among maniacs, there has been a version of the broadcast air check on a reel (the sound quality is inferior to the air check used mainly this time, but it is better than "NYC") for some time, which included the precious introduction at the start of the broadcast and a word from Noel just before going up on stage. By adding it to the beginning, the longest recording was also realized. The stereo soundboard captured the 1997 tour-like feel of "Stay Young" and "Magic Pie" (the latter cannot be heard at the G-MEX performance), as well as "Fade In-Out" and "All Around The World", and Liam's famous song "Don't Go Away", which was sung every night as a regular at the time, was finally able to be heard in its original sound quality. Maniacs around the world have been waiting for this day. If the best-selling "DEFINITIVE G-MEX 1997: 2024 REMASTER & REMIX" is the end of the tour, this New York Hammerstein Ballroom is a radio broadcast that represents the first half of the tour. In other words, the bookend of the stereo soundboard of the 1997 tour is finally complete! This is the birth of a must-have item that will knock out all the previously released titles that you absolutely cannot miss on the "BE HERE NOW" tour, or even in the entire Oasis career! The second day of the New York performance, a masterpiece from the first half of the 1997 "BE HERE NOW" tour, uses a different source SBD sound source that is different from the sound source that was crushed by the previously released seaweed waveform, and also utilizes AUD sound source and the latest AI technology to evolve into an amazing sound image and record for the longest time! All the muddiness and deficiencies of the previously released board have been eliminated, and the definitive version of Oasis' representative masterpiece is finally complete!
