After stops in Cardiff and Manchester, the reunited Oasis' massive UK tour finally reached London! Billboard even described the tour as getting "better and better with each performance," and the band held five shows (to an estimated 450,000 people!) at London's sacred Wembley Stadium from July 25th to August 3rd. This title features a complete recording of the second of those five shows, July 26th, with superb audience shots (though some parts, such as the beginning of "Supersonic," are missing). First of all, Wembley Stadium is a massive stadium with a capacity of 90,000, and features a larger back screen than the Cardiff performance. I was surprised when I started playback on it! Even though it was shot from the stands, the camera angle was superb, capturing the entire view of the screen without making you feel too far away from the band! Plus, the ability to switch between long-distance and zoom shots is fantastic! The shot is taken from a diagonal front left, sometimes capturing the entire screen, and sometimes zooming in to focus on the band members on stage at key moments. The balance is exquisite! Furthermore, there's very little camera shake, making this the best audience shot footage of this reunion tour to date, both in terms of visibility and immersion. I'd also like to add that the audio is also excellent. Oasis' UK tour took place at the 90,000-seat Wembley Stadium, so the audience reaction was every bit as exciting as Manchester's Heaton Park. While this title captures that excitement visually, it doesn't negatively impact the audio! There are no strange voices that would disrupt the viewing experience, and the vocals of Liam and Noel are clearly recorded amidst the literal "waves" of audience excitement, which is nothing short of fortunate. Among the No. 1 audience shots from this tour, which combine both "visibility" and "listening," if there's one song that's particularly enjoyable for the live performance, it has to be "Cigarettes & Alcohol"! Before the performance, Liam urges the crowd to "Poznan" (a celebration originating from soccer fans, where fans link arms, turn their backs to the pitch or stage, and jump in unison), and the footage perfectly captures it. There's a famous line in a certain movie: "People are like garbage," but the sight of 90,000 people turning their backs to the stage, linking arms, and jumping in unison is so terrifying it feels like the stadium is about to collapse (lol).
