Four titles of the best recordings from the Oasis reunion tour will be released at once, offering two different versions! The concepts are "history" and "contrast." The second luxurious title is the full live recording from the July 21, 2009 iTunes Festival! Many people may recognize this live recording as a digest version included on the official post-breakup best-of album, "TIME FLIES...1994-2009." However, this release is a slightly different, or rather completely upgraded, version! Details are provided below. The live recordings from Oasis' 2009 iTunes Festival appearance were all broadcast on XFM (now Radio X), preserving high-quality stereo soundboard recordings. Naturally, at the time of this broadcast, it was impossible to imagine that Oasis would disband just one month later following Noel's departure. After the band disbanded, the first pressing of "TIME FLIES...1994-2009" (Disc 3) included a digest of the concert, partially mastered and partially remastered. However, this was during the heyday of the iTunes Store. It's well known that in the West (excluding Japan), all tracks were available digitally, albeit in compressed, lossy formats. Naturally, this distribution is no longer available. However, there's actually an additional story behind this. For some reason, only in the Netherlands were all tracks available in uncompressed, lossless audio! Naturally, this is not the XFM broadcast version, but a flawless mix, officially mastered, making this live recording unparalleled. Naturally, this distribution is no longer available, so it's impossible to find a better recording of this concert. However, an overseas enthusiast has kindly provided us with this uncompressed, lossless audio of the entire concert, exclusively available in the Netherlands! The content of this live performance is also quite storied. During the first song, "Rock 'n' Roll Star," a beer thrown by a member of the audience splashed onto Liam, soaking him and causing him to lose his temper! The relationship between Noel and Liam was already straining, and this incident added to the mix, resulting in an unusual performance in which Liam was in a state of rage throughout the show. This was evident in his performance, as he abandoned singing midway through some songs, such as "My Big Mouth," resulting in an unusual half-instrumental performance. While Liam usually leaves the stage for songs where Noel takes the lead vocals, on this day he sulked and remained onstage, sitting on the drum set pedestal and watching Noel sing "Half the World Away." However, this wasn't just a fury or a careless performance; he sang with such passion, as in "Champagne Supernova," venting his frustration into the microphone. This performance, more than any other performance before the band's breakup, was a positive one, showcasing Liam's pride as a frontman. As mentioned above, Oasis will disband one month later, so this is a perfect opportunity to compare it with the soundtrack from their 2025 reunion tour. The once-disconnected history has been reconnected and the wheels have begun to turn. Roundhouse, London, England 21st July 2009 STEREO SBD Disc1 (50:31) 1. Fuckin' In The Bushes 2.
