A CD containing the March 5th show, which was a gig before Fairfax. The 1996 Indianapolis was an audience recording using DAT. Overall, the sound image is far away (especially in the first half of the gig), and during the opening "The Swamp Song" there is some noise that seems to be caused by the age of the DAT, but the sound quality is mild and sufficient. It's very clear, and there's no noisy audience around, so even if you're not a fan, you can listen to it without stress. What surprised me the most as I listened to the performance that day was that, unlike Fairfax, the Gallagher brothers didn't talk much. On that broadcast, the two of them talked to the audience at a level close to screaming, but on this day, there were very few MCs between the songs. In particular, the fact that there is such a clear difference in Liam's voice when it comes to just saying the name of the song is very interesting to listen to. However, it's not like the performance is low-spirited (at all!), rather the show seems to be progressing calmly, while Liam's condition is also very good and he sings every song effortlessly. It's a strange contrast that Fairfax was able to use such words without hesitation, and while he spoke few words and performed smoothly, the excitement of the performance itself was extremely high. After all, the two of them were so excited because they were aware that Fairfax was being recorded for radio, and it gives us a glimpse of what the normal business mode of the tour would be like... There is a document that will help you. In other words, there is no sense of omission in the performance itself, and not only Liam but also Noel sings passionately in the singing corner, and "Slide Away" is especially wonderful. What's more, the audience was very excited, and the occasional chorus was captured in a balanced manner without being sarcastic. Of course, it is true that it cannot be called a level as it is a distant sound image, but the main sound source is still enjoyable enough. In other words, it would be a good idea to compare the city to the ``yang'' of Fairfax and the ``yin'' of Indianapolis. A rare sound source from the 1996 American tour where you can enjoy the before and after of Fairfax. Egyptian Room, Indianapolis, IN, USA 5th March 1996 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 (50:00) 01.
